Mixed feelings right now, which is bizarre. Austin won and it’s my hometown so I should be over the moon, right? Only, I am disappointed for Alex and the team and since when did I start to care about how Alex would feel? I guess right now is the long and short of it.

I watched as he went and clapped the other center player on the back and held his arm up in the air, very sporting. It’s just a kind of nice thing to do. His team have gone round congratulating the Austin team, it makes me have a lump in my throat. Oh for goodness sake get a grip Lane.

He skates over the screen again. “We’re all going out for some drinks after you can join us. Bring the camera if you need to take pictures. Our team photographer will be there too.”

I nod at him. Drinks, yes that is what I need some drink to let off steam. All the sexual tension from the other night and in the lift, I need to let that off. Hell, if I weren’t with Alex I could even find a hook up and get off properly not using my toy
