A few minutes later, the attending doctor, Dr Reed, approached the Morgan family. He looked at them with a grim expression and said, “Mrs Green lost a lot of blood, and we couldn’t save the babies.

The wound in her head was deep. Fortunately, there were no skull fractures. She had to receive twenty stitches to close the deep gash on her head.” Ursula’s mother was sobbing softly in her husband’s arms.

In the emergency room, Rain was holding Ursula’s hand, comforting her. Ursula looked at her with sadness in her eyes and said, “Please tell my brother to avenge me.

Daniel pushed me hard and killed our babies. His mistress hit me with a steel paper punch, and I couldn't dodge it because I was in so much pain.

Rain, please promise me that you will never date someone who has been dumped by his first love.”

Rain nodded her head and replied, “I promise, my sweet Ursula.” A faint smile appeared on Ursula's face, and she said, “Please don’t forget your promise, my dearest Rain. Please tell my family and Harvey that I love them so much.”

Rain started panicking and said, “Please don’t scare me, Ursula.” Ursula smiled and replied, “I am tired, Rain. Please tell Daniel that I will never forgive him.” She closed her eyes, then she passed away.

Dr Reed rushed to the emergency room when he heard Rain’s screaming. Then the nurse helped Rain out of the emergency room. The attending doctor tried to resuscitate Ursula to no avail.

When Harvey arrived in the waiting room, he hugged his best friend tightly and asked, “What happened, Kingston?”

Kingston’s eyes were red, and he replied, “Daniel and his mistress beat up my sister and left her for dead. Fortunately, Rain was in the parking lot when she saw Daniel and his mistress leaving.

Rain was so brave that she forced Daniel’s secretary to open his boss’s office. If Rain had not been with my sister, Daniel and his mistress would have dumped my sister’s body later. Daniel is so heartless.

He decided to collude with his mistress to kill my sister, after everything the Morgan family had done for him. He is such an ingrate.

How could he treat my baby sister and my nephews like that? He must pray that my sister is alright, because I don’t know what I will do to him and his mistress should my sister lose her life.” Ursula was the apple of her brother’s eye.

At that moment, Rain walked towards them, sobbing uncontrollably. Harvey rushed to his sister and took her in his arms. He looked at her with eyes full of concern and said, “Don’t worry, baby sis, Ursula is strong, and she is going to be alright.”

Rain shook her head and replied, “Big brother, Ursula is gone.” Then she cried out aloud. Harvey’s mind went blank, and he asked, “What do you mean, baby sister?”

Rain looked at Ursula’s parents and said, “Uncle, Auntie, Ursula asked me to tell you that she loved you so much.”

Then she turned to Kingston and said, “Kingston, Ursula asked me to tell you that she loved you the most. Also, she asked you to avenge her death.”

She looked at her brother and said, “Big brother, Ursula said she loved you so dearly.” Then she sobbed sorrowfully.

Kingston looked at Rain with a confused expression and said in a trembling voice, “Rain, please tell me that my sister is alright.”

Rain wiped her tears and replied, “She is gone, Kingston. Daniel and his mistress killed my best friend and my nephews.” Then she wailed.

When Mr Morgan heard Rain’s words, he fainted, and he was rushed to the emergency room. Kingston hugged his mother tightly, crying. Daniel’s parents were so scared that they wanted to escape.

Dr Reed walked to the Morgan family and said, “My heartfelt condolences to the Morgan and Green families.

We tried to resuscitate Mrs Green to no avail. Mrs Green had lost the will to live after she lost her unborn children. You can come to the emergency room to see her for the last time.”

Kingston took his mother’s arm and walked to the emergency room. Their mother touched her daughter’s cold hand and said, “May your soul rest in peace, my beautiful daughter. You were taken from us too soon, and we miss you already.”

She was overwhelmed with sorrow and bitterness in her heart. She looked at her beloved daughter’s head, which was shaved because of the wound. Ursula had waist-length, beautiful jet-black hair.

Kingston looked at his baby sister with tears streaming down his handsome face and said, “I promise.” Then he took his mother away.

Harvey hugged his best friend and said, “My heartfelt condolences, Kingston. May the Holy Spirit comfort you. Daniel will pay with his life. I am taking my sister home to rest, Kingston.”

Then he hugged Mrs Morgan and said, “My deepest condolences, Auntie. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort as you grieve.”

Harvey’s heart was overwhelmed with bitterness. He hugged his sister’s shoulder, then they left the hospital with a heavy heart.

An hour later, Mr Morgan was wheeled to his private ward. The Morgan family followed behind the nurses. The Green family got a chance to escape.

The Senior Surgeon, Dr Selepe, walked into Mr Morgan’s private ward and said, “Mr Morgan has suffered a mild stroke. However, it is unlikely to cause long-term problems.” His wife heaved a sigh of relief when she heard the doctor’s words.

After the doctor left the private ward, Mrs Morgan looked at her son and said, “Kingston, please arrange your sister’s funeral. Don’t do anything to Daniel and his mistress.

Also, please do not interfere with the judicial process. Let the law run its course. I don’t want to lose you, too, my dearest son.”

Kingston nodded his head, then he left his father’s private ward and went to Dr Reed’s office to fetch the necessary forms. Since it was still early, he went to Home Affairs to fetch his sister’s Death Certificate.

After Kingston received the Death Certificate, he went to His Love Funeral Home to meet the Funeral Director, Mr Angel.

Mr Angel welcomed Kingston with warmth and said, “My deepest condolences go out to the Morgan family. May the Lord give you strength as you are preparing for your loved one’s funeral.”

Then Mr Angel went to the JHB Stanton Private Hospital’s morgue with Kingston to fetch Ursula’s body.

In the hospital parking lot, Austin looked at his mother with pleading eyes and said, “Mom, I would like you to move into my Penthouse with me. I would be constantly worried if I knew that you were staying at my sister’s place all by yourself.”His mother’s eyes brimmed with tears, and she replied, “You’re so kind, my precious son. I appreciate the offer, but I don't want to intrude on your space.Son, what if we brought back our family butler? He could stay in the apartment with me and provide the protection you are worried about.”Austin smiled and said, “That's a good idea, Mom. In the meantime, at the Stanton Private Hospital, Gia looked at Mr Pearson and said, “Mr Jungle asked me to let you know that he has tasked his legal team to look into your daughter’s sentence. Who knows, maybe they will be able to find a loophole.”Mr Pearson’s eyes lit up when he heard Gia’s words. However, his eyes dimmed quickly when he remembered his lawyer’s words. Then he wrote, “My lawyer, Mr Marsh, indicated that the evidence was watertight and there was no error.”A faint smile played on Gia’s lips, and she said, “Mr Jungle’s senior lawyer mentioned that as well. However, everything under the sun has a price tag, Mr Pearson. If our legal team fails to find a loophole, we will fight to amend the sentence by appealing the 'without parole' clause. With the right strategy, your daughter could serve as little as twelve years before being eligible for release.”When Mr Pearson learned that there was a possibility of his beloved daughter serving only half her sentence, a profound s

Mrs Pearson looked at her husband, sadness in her eyes, and she asked, “Hubby, do you want me to call our family lawyer to help us with the appeal?”Before Mr Pearson could respond, Gerry Marsh walked into the private ward carrying a fruit basket. He greeted the couple with respect, and then he handed the fruit basket to Mrs Pearson.Mrs Pearson smiled brightly and said, “Thank you, Gerry. I was about to call you regarding my daughter, Zara’s sentence. We feel that Judge Cronje was too harsh. So, we want to appeal.”Gerry shook his head and replied, “I beg to differ, Mrs Pearson. Judge Cronje acted with impartiality. Zara had planned the crime from the start, and the sentence of life imprisonment is legally sound. Also, at no point during the proceedings did Zara demonstrate any remorse for the life she had stolen. I believe Judge Cronje considered that factor before he handed down the sentencing.I am sorry, Mr and Mrs Pearson. The trial was airtight, and we don’t have grounds for an

I wanted Miss Pearson to give Miss Stanton a large sum of money to force her to divorce my son. I didn’t mean any harm.”Judge Cronje shook his head and said, “Mrs Phillips, Miss Pearson killed innocent baby Colton because your words were delivered with such recklessn
