"We've found the man you're looking for, Miss," said a bespectacled woman who had entered a room.

Hearing the news, a beautiful woman wearing a crimson dress stood upHer clothes matched her bright white skin and made her look perfect.

"So can we go now, Helen?" asked Caraline as she stood up from the couch. The CEO of Mimiline Group walked outside the room with big strides.

Helen followed Caraline. "Of course, Miss. I have prepared for all the necessary needs. So we can leave anytime."

Helen opened the door and let Caroline out first. "The identity of the man seems to have been omitted on purpose. That's why we've had difficulty finding the man's whereabouts all this time.

The elevator door opened. Caraline and Helen rushed inside.

"The man is currently living in Springtown with the Aberald family."

"The Abelard Family?" Caraline asked.

Helen nodded. "The Abelard family owns a textile and culinary company. Their company is on the brink of bankruptcy right now. But the man you are looking for is not involved in the activities of the Abelard family company at all.

"Not involved?" Caraline rushed out of the elevator as soon as the door opened. The employees in the company lobby bowed as soon as she walked.

Caraline ignored the respect of her employees. Now, she was trying to calm the sudden pounding of his heart. not because of longing but purely out of curiosity and a little spice of tension.

It's been almost five years since the CEO of the fashion and cosmetics company has been looking for him. And today, Caroline found out where the man lived.

When Caraline came out of the office building, the media immediately surrounded her with cameras and microphones. Thankfully, the security officers were able to prepare well to make it easier for her and Helen to enter the vehicle.

Caroline rolled her eyes when the journalists begged to be given access so they could ask her about an issue that is currently a hot topic. Someone outside loudly knocked on Caraline's car window as she leaned back in her chair.

"Miss Caraline, is it true that you and Diego Fulhert are in a relationship?" asked one of the journalists who managed to escape guard.

"Go!" said Caroline to the driver. To be honest, she was too lazy to discuss the figure of a man named Diego for now.

Diego told a member of the media that Caraline and himself were planning a love affair. The news immediately became the center of attention for the people. Various articles about their closeness were circulating, and not a few of their contents were far from reality.

"Miss Caroline, please... your comments," yelled the journalist as he raced to catch up with the car's movement." Miss Caraline. Please ...."

Caraline had little sympathy for journalists who had fallen head over heels. Her bodyguards immediately arrested the man and took him away. Caraline was finally able to lean back in the chair.

"Clear my schedule for tomorrow, Helen," Caroline said without turning her head.

Helen was suddenly surprised. She checked Caraline's schedule, scrolled the phone screen several times, then started biting her lip slowly.

"Miss Caroline," said Helen doubtfully.

"You may give any reason as long as it makes sense," said Caraline. She opened her phone and closed it again when she saw Diego's name on the cellphone screen.

"All right, Miss." Helen reluctantly answered. She has the task of rearranging Caroline's schedule.

At ten in the morning, Caraline's car pulled up in front of a house with a large yard. The woman rushed out, walking at a brisk pace. "Helen, you wait here. I will solve my problems."

Caraline pressed the bell several times. When the door opened and a maid appeared, she immediately said, "I am Caraline Emelia Wattson. I want to meet someone in this house. Don't waste any more of my time."

"I'm sorry, Miss. But I was ordered not to let any guests in. Jeremy and the others are discussing something important right now."

Caraline rolled her eyes. "You can work at my place if your master fires you."

The maid gaped, watched Caraline from head to toe, then

turned to Helen and some of the bodyguards. "Are you Miss Caroline on the television?"

Caraline nodded.

"Follow me, Miss."

In the family room, three men were sitting opposite each other. On the table, there are several stacks of folders scattered about.

"If we don't get ten million dollars in one week, we'll be broke," said Jeremy, the eldest son of the Abelard family. His breath sounded desperate.

"What about borrowing money from the bank?" Jonathan gives advice.

"That's not a good idea, Jonathan." Jeremy refused. The man combed his hair with his fingers after pulling it several times.

"I thought we could borrow some money from our business partners," said James, the youngest of the three of them. Unlike his brother, who looked confused, the brown-haired man seemed calm while playing with his phone.

"James, can you be more serious?" Jeremy was furious. "This concerns the life and death of our family. Save your phone now or I'll throw it in the trash!"

James snorted in annoyance. He put his phone in his pocket. "Isn't my idea considered, Jeremy? I am sure that among our business partners, there must be someone willing to help. Isn't our relationship with them well established?"

"Jeremy and I have tried it, James," Jonathan said, "but no one's willing to help."

"You should know that business is as dirty as politics, James. Everything related to money and power cannot be achieved only with kindness and honesty." Jeremy chimed in. "There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics or business; there is only cooperation for mutual benefit. If other people don't want to help us, it's like they see that we can no longer benefit them."

"It sucks," James said.

Every time he thought about the state of the company, Jeremy felt like he was going to explode into pieces. He has often stayed up late to analyze reports in the past month. Yet, all his efforts were fruitless. When Jeremy felt that he had failed, he saw a maid approaching the discussion site. His anger was immediately ignited.

"Are you crazy?" Jeremy snarled, "Didn't I tell you not to come near this room before I told you to?"

Jonathan and James looked at each other.

"I’m sorry, Sir," replied the maid, "there is Miss Caroline who wants to meet you."

"Caraline?" Jeremy's brow furrowed. As far as he could remember, he had no appointment with someone named Caroline. not even having a friend named Caroline. Is the maid stupid?

Jeremy turned to his two brothers, hoping they would come up with an answer. But, until a few seconds passed, Jonathan and James' mouths were still closed.

Wait. Jeremy remembered someone named Caroline. But is it possible that the person visiting him is the same as the figure in his head right now?

"Let me help you remember." Caraline suddenly appeared behind the maid. "I'm Caraline Emilia Wattson, CEO of Mimiline Group."

When they saw the charming woman in front of him, Jeremy, Jonathan, and James knew who the maid meant. For a few seconds, the three men only stared at each other.

"Miss Caroline," said Jeremy, getting up from the chair. "It is an honor for the Abelard family to meet you in person. Have a sit."

When Caraline landed her body on the chair, the maid cleaned up the mess around the table and then left the room.

"Please forgive our impoliteness, Miss. We had no idea you were here today." Jeremy added. "Did we offend you?"

"I don't want to mince words." Caraline ignored Jeremy's manners. "Which of you is Jacob Aberald? I want him to marry me tomorrow."
