LOGINELARA'S POV
“It’s impossible that I can make Kael fall for me,” I said, seeming hopeless.
“What? Of course, you can,” said Callie as she sat down beside me.
We’re inside my condo and it’s past three in the afternoon already. We just had a movie marathon and a girl’s talk. Callie and Vivi said that they will go home before five o’clock.
“Why did you say that it is impossible?” asked Vivi.
I reached out for the glass of juice and drank. I then put it back on the table. “Well, first, Kael hates commitment. And we all know that since the beginning. Second, I don’t know why he hates it,” I said and laughed.
My friends threw a piece of biscuits in my direction. “Crazy,” Callie mumbled.
“Of course, he was afraid to be hurt to be broken. Few think that if they enter a commitment, it seems like they are burying themselves. You know, they don’t want to be strangled,” Vivi explained.
“Strangle? Those men have no balls,” said Callie, with bitterness in her voice. “They don’t know how to take a risk.”
“Well, it’s half of the truth why… they don’t want it,” said Vivi.
“Why are we talking about those things?” I asked and shook my head.
“What? I don’t know?” Callie raised her eyebrow. “You’re the one who started it. You said it’s impossible that you can make him fall for you? And now, you’re asking us why we have this kind of topic?”
I laughed. “Oh, is that so?” I pretended, and for the second time, I was hit by a biscuit. “Hey, I’m just kidding. Okay, I’ll try but I can’t promise anything. Kael doesn’t want a clingy type of a girl.” I emphasized the word ‘clingy’.
“Geez, do it your way. Besides, sooner you will be working together. A perfect match. You were both CEOs. Make it a chance for your sweet agenda,” said Callie and winked at me.
“Sweet agenda? You mean your stupidity?” asked Vivi.
Callie then threw another piece of biscuit to her, “Villain.”
I beat her, “Callie… you’re wasting food. That’s not a toy for you to play on.”
Callie didn’t answer and just rolled her eyes. I stood up and started to fix things above the table.
“And please, don’t wait for the clock to hit five. Just go home already,” I said.
“Why are you shooing us away? Is it because Kael will be here in a minute?” asked Vivi and a smirk flustered on her face. I almost dropped the tray I’m holding.
“Who?” I asked.
“Your phone,” Callie answered.
My eyes widened when I saw my phone in Callie’s grip. I immediately put the tray back on the table and grabbed my phone from Callie’s hand.
“Geez, what happened with the word privacy?” I said, seeming pissed.
Callie stood up and chuckled and Vivi did the same.
"Remind me why I do have crazy friends like them," a thought from my mind.
“I can’t believe this,” Callie blurted and shook her head. She grabbed her sling bag and clung it on her body. She then looked at me. “Kael is into you, girl.”
“You’re insane. Maybe he needs to say something about the business expansion that we talked about the other day. Don’t jump to conclusions,” I said.
“She’s right, Callie. You’re just assuming,” said Vivi. She then walked beside Callie and grabbed her hand. “Let’s go. We might even catch up with Kael, and you knew Elara wants privacy. It will be your fault if her veggie won’t be watered.”
“What?” I exclaimed. I was about to throw the pillow in Vivi’s direction when they walked fast and went out of my condo. I thought Vivi would give more sensible words, but it turned out that she’s the same as Callie. Both insane.
When they’re gone, I read Kael’s message.
‘Your condo, 5:30.’
I slightly slapped my forehead. That answers why my friends acted that way.
The message was simple, but it can tell a deep thought, it can give a deeper meaning. Knowing my friends’ imaginations Damn! Kael is getting on my nerves. I shrieked out of frustration.
I started to get pissed waiting for Kael. Yes, even if the man is pissing me off, I’m still waiting for him. And I look like a fool waiting for the clock to hit five-thirty. I even took a shower.
All I know is that I only like the feeling of being under Kael’s spell. Nothing more. I like his company, especially when we share intimate things. I don’t feel any romantic feelings with him. It is just desire… the pleasure he can give every time we’re doing it.
I gasped when the doorbell rang. I immediately wore my robe and walked through the door. When I opened it, Kael was standing in front of me.
“H-Hi,” I greeted.
He just smiled and stepped inside. What the, I didn’t even ask him yet to come in.
“What brings you here?” I asked as I closed the door.
I faced him and crossed my arms. He then sat down on the sofa and leaned on the headrest. He lifted his face and closed his eyes.
“What happened? Seems you’re tired,” I asked and sat on the sofa right in front of him.
“Hmm…” he mumbled.
“What do you want? Coffee, juice, cold water… or me?”
His forehead wrinkled but his eyes remained closed.
I bit my lower lip when I realized what I just said. I fake coughed, “Sorry. I mean milk.” I closed my eyes. It’s embarrassing.
When I opened my eyes, Kael already properly sat on the sofa and a playful smirk flustered on his face.
“You look hot and gorgeous with your robe on. I wonder what you look like without it. Hotter, perhaps?”
I stood up. “Jerk. Just stay here, I will make you juice.”
I was about to walk when he talked. “I prefer you.”
“What?”
He stood up and moved closer to me. “The choices include you.” He moved a little bit closer. Until there were only two inches left with our distance. “I don’t want coffee, or juice, or cold water… I want you,” he said as he whispered the last sentence.
I moved backward. “W-Wait, I’m just going to change,” I said and rushed inside my room.
When I already locked the door, my hand clasped my robe on top of my chest. Damn! My heart beats so fast.
I don’t know that Kael can act insanely. And I’m a fool to include myself in the choices. I cursed under my breath. ‘You’re a flirt, Elara,’ said the corner of my mind.
I walked to my closet. I was about to open it when the door opened. I closed my eyes and mumbled, “I didn’t lock it.”
“Nice room,” he said.
I remained in my place. “Will you please wait for me outside? I just need to put some clothes on,” I said.
Kael remained silent. I also stayed right in front of my closet.
“Are you on your period? What’s with the temper?” he asked and let out a soft chuckle.
I then moved and faced him. To my surprise, the man was sitting on the edge of my bed. “Yes, so what? Why are you here, anyway?”
“As far as I remember, we just had sex yesterday,” he said and laughed.
“Oh, you remember? And why are you asking about it now?” I asked, sarcastically. “And you did something unfavorable to me.”
“And what is it?”
“You bribed my friends and you told them that we’re dating. You know we’re not.”
“Aren’t we? We go out on a date, remember,” he said.
“It’s not a date, it’s just lunch. A business lunch,” I explained.
“We also had dinner. A business dinner, as you say,” he said, seeming mocking and emphasizing the word ‘business’.
“Whatever,” I said and rolled my eyes. I turned my back away and was about to walk when suddenly Kael grabbed me and let me be seated on his lap.
I screamed, “Kael!”
“Shhh, something might get angry.” He’s about the bulk between his thighs. “We have an agreement, remember?” he whispered at the back of my ear, and he started to plant kisses from my lobe down to my neck that made me close my eyes because of the tingling sensation that his lips could give.
I moved my head sideways to give him quiet access. He kissed me on the cheek as I slowly faced him. With any hindrance, he placed his lips into mine. I sat properly as we continued to share a steamy kiss.
His hands started to travel on my body until it reached the knot of my robe and he untied it, and he pulled it down.
I couldn’t help myself not to moan. His hands started to roam around, from my back to my globe, until it reached the mountain in front of me. His kisses trailed down to my neck, skin every skin of it. Whilst his left hand was cupping my left pile, tweaking my tip.
I arched my body to give him a better view. But he stood up, my robe fell, and I lay on my bed. He went on top of me and started to kiss me again. That time, I saw something in Kael’s eyes, it’s not lust and desire, but it seemed like it was the eye of a man who is lovingly making love to his wife. But that was Kael, and he doesn’t know the word love.
His moves were so gentle as he slowly climbed down and planted a kiss on my neck. He massaged my mountains and suddenly sucked its peak as his hands found my core. He caressed it whilst hungrily sucking my rose tips, he then slid down one finger inside my jewel.
“Ah!” I moaned, loudly.
Kael kept on what he started, with the sensation I couldn’t hold in, I convulsed. My body shivered whilst I’m about to cum.
“You’re beautiful,” he whispered, which made me blush. “You’re blushing,” he said and gave me a playful smirk. We could see each other clearly as the lights were turned on.
“Shut up! And just m-make me—”
“Cum?”
I bit my lower lip and closed my eyes because of the tingling sensation his finger could give.
“You like it?”
“Y-Yes,” I answered, and I cursed when Kael suddenly pulled his finger out.
“Don’t be too impatient, baby,” he said. He moved away from my top and started to take off his clothes.
I couldn’t help myself not to gasp because of what I’m seeing. It’s fucking big! That I could even give myself a reward of surviving with it.
“Loving what you see?” he asked, mocking.
“Fucker,” I exclaimed.
“My tigress is angry, huh?” he said and kissed me again. I gasped when he inserted his shaft whilst I was unready.
Kael was getting wilder as he thrust fast and delved deeper. He’s a beast in bed. He sets his own rules in bed. He will do all the positions he wants to… and I’m loving it.
He continued what he was doing at the same pace until I felt a hot liquid trailing down to my left leg as my position was facing the bed. We both reached our climax. I thought it ended there but it seemed like Kael wasn't tired yet.
For the ninth time… Kael is a beast.
So wild.
And don't mind even if we had sex all night.
Can I handle it until the end of the agreement? Can I handle how tough the CEO was? Can I possibly make him like the commitment thing? Will I fall?
Definitely… NOT.
ELARA'S POV “How many days that you haven’t let your veggie be watered, Elara?”“What the…” I covered Callie’s mouth and looked around. Damn! “Will you please shut this mouth?” I said as I removed my hand from her mouth. For goodness’ sake, we’re inside of a fancy restaurant, full of well-known business royalties.“What?” Callie mumbled and smirked at me.“Will you please lower down your voice?”Callie rolled her eyes. “Whatever, I’m just asking you a question, right Vivi?” she asked Vivi who is busy on her phone.“Ha?” is all that Vivi uttered.“Seriously, Vivi? Is there something I need to fish out?” Callie asked and raised her left brow.“N-Nothing, of course,” Vivi answered and put down her phone at the table. “So, I heard Kael is in France. Why is that?” she then asked, seems to catch up to our topic.I shrugged my shoulders and said, “Business?”“You’re not sure? Aren’t you two dating?” asked Callie, with her mocking tone.“Says who? We go out just for a business thing,” I repl

ELARA'S POV It was eight in the morning when Callie and Vivi picked me up. They invited me over for breakfast in Callie’s restaurant. My friends kept interrogating me. But I didn’t know what to answer or where to start. I just told them that I would answer after breakfast so they would stop. Besides, after it, we would be hanging out in my condo. My father called me over the phone and said that I had a trip abroad for business matters. I declined it but he blackmailed me and said that I would not inherit any single pound from our company. I just scoffed and laughed. As if he could do it. Knowing my mother? She wouldn’t agree with it. My mother loves me so much that she won’t let it happen. So, if Elara said no, then it’s a no. My father does the business thing on that trip.Yes. I’m hardheaded. But no one can blame me, I hate business. When I was young, I always wanted to be a doctor, but it turns out I became a businesswoman. There’s nothing wrong with being a businesswoman either.
ELARA'S POV I woke up groggy, a tickling sensation stirring the lower part of my body. Something warm seemed to caress me, sending shivers through my skin. “Hmm…” I mumbled, my eyes fluttering open. Darkness enveloped me, and I blinked to adjust my vision. My breath caught when I saw the silhouette of a man whose sharp features were unmistakable. It was definitely Kael.“What are you doing?” I asked, pulling myself up and leaning against the headboard. I cursed silently. For heaven’s sake, I was naked. My eyes darted to the digital clock beside the lamp.4:18 AMKael moved closer. I grabbed the duvet, yanking it over my body to cover my nakedness. He smirked, his eyes glinting in the dim light.“You don’t need to hide it. I’ve already seen it and touched it,” he said, his voice dripping with mockery. He crawled toward me like a playful child, and despite myself, I smiled. His brows furrowed. “Is something funny?” he asked.I sat up straighter, shaking my head. “Nothing.”He
KAEL'S POV I had no choice but to drive Elara home. Her arms crossed and her eyes fixed out the window like I didn’t exist. She was still pissed, probably replaying what I’d said to her friends about them ditching her so easily. I didn’t mean for it to sting her like that anyway, but damn, she looked super cute when she's furious. When I pulled up to her building, she didn’t even wait for me to kill the engine. She flung the car door open, slid out, and stormed toward the elevator like she was on a mission. I locked the car and followed her, catching her just as she pressed the elevator button. Her eyes widened when she saw me walking toward her, and I swear I saw a flash of panic mixed with that fiery annoyance.“What the hell, Kael? Go home,” she snapped, her voice sharp enough to cut glass. The elevator doors started to slide shut, but I slipped my hand in just in time, stepping inside with a smirk. Her arms crossed tighter, and she spun to face me, her dark eyes blazing.
ELARA'S POV The moment our eyes locked, my heart started pounding like a drum. It was definitely not love… God, no..but the nagging feeling that I’d done something wrong behind Kael’s back hit me hard. We had an agreement, sure, but as long as I wasn’t flirting with other guys, we were fine yeah? I was just having a drink with my girls, nothing more.So why did I feel like I’d crossed some invisible line?“Gals, I’m hitting the bathroom,” I said, trying to sound casual.Callista and Vivi nodded, barely glancing up from their drinks. I stood and weaved through the crowd, my skin prickling like someone was watching my every step. You know that feeling like eyes are boring to you? Yeah, that. I took a deep breath, shaking it off. He’s not my boyfriend, Elara. Chill.Relax, you got this, I whispered to myself, though my nerves were still on edge.I cursed under my breath when I realized I had no clue where the bathroom was. The club’s pulsing music didn’t help. I tapped the shoul
