ELARA'S POV
Three days have passed since I gave my purity to a stranger. I laugh at the thought, I shared it with someone I didn’t even know, not with my boyfriend, Adrian.
It’s absurd, but it felt… good, despite the pain. That night, I learned pain could turn into pleasure too.
I can’t explain why, but I want to do it again with him, Kael Beaumont, the CEO of the Beaumont Group of Companies.
The richest bachelor in town, a notorious womanizer, and a man who shuns commitment.
I only realized it was him after finding a card he left behind in the room.
His name was printed on it, and I researched him to confirm he was the same infamous playboy.
He’s one of our major investors. I’ve seen him at elite parties, mingling with high society.
Did he recognize me that night, or did he think I was just some prostitute looking for a paid thrill? I don’t regret what happened anyway.
I want something new, that sex we shared. I want to explore deeper things with him.
I decided to go to Kael's company now, after three days of debating whether to visit him or let it go.
I park my car and head to the guard’s desk, stating my purpose.
The guard asks if I have an appointment.
“Yeah, with Kael. I’m his girlfriend,” I lied.
It’s the easiest way in though.
The guard laughs like I’ve told a bad joke. “Four other girls claimed to be Kael’s girlfriend this morning. You’re the fifth, ma’am,” he says.
I raise an eyebrow, crossing my arms.
“What? I’m his. Call him if you don’t believe me,” I challenge, praying Kael plays along.
The guard shakes his head, unconvinced, but makes the call.
“Hello, sir. There’s a lady here claiming to be your girlfriend. Shall I let her…What’s your name, miss?”
“Elara Dela Vega.”
“Elara Dela Vega, sir,” he says.
“Yes, sir.” He hangs up.
“What?” I ask, impatient.
“You may enter, ma’am. Sorry for the delay. Head to the CEO’s office on the top floor,” he says.
I nod and stride to the elevator. I take a deep breath. Relax, Elara.
This is what you wanted, a voice in my head whispers. Callista doesn’t know about this. No one does.
I’ll tell them eventually, but not yet.
I’m trying to move on, to focus on something other than my past. I don’t want to be trapped by thoughts of Adrian. He’s not worth my tears.
What if I’d given him what he wanted, only for him to cheat anyway? I’d be miserable now.
The elevator opens, and I step out, taking in the surroundings.
I’m used to luxury, but the Beaumont Group’s interiors are stunning, each design unique. A woman in glasses greets me.
“You must be Ms. Dela Vega, right?”
“Yes.”
“This way, ma’am. Mr. Beaumont is expecting you,” she says, leading me to his office.
She knocks, opens the door, and leaves.
I know Kael, but that night, I didn’t realize it was him. He’s two years older than me.
We went to the same college, but we never spoke. I had a crush on him back then until Adrian came along and shattered my trust.
When I confirmed it was Kael I’d been with, my old infatuation flickered back, but not romantically of course.
It’s pure lust now.
Who would’ve thought my college crush would be my first? Better him than that cheater, Adrian.
Though Kael's no saint, he's a known playboy, always linked to different women by the paparazzi.
I want to try things without strings attached. Now I get why some avoid commitment.
They want to live freely, maybe out of fear or focus on their own priorities.
Fear does strange things in relationships. Some dive in headfirst; others, like Kael, play the chase, avoiding the next step.
I was so blinded by Adrian that I became a fool, wasting two years on a jerk!
“Hi,” I say as I enter, and Kael’s alluring eyes meet mine.
God, I love his smile.
“Sit down,” he says.
“What brings you here? You should’ve called.” He clasps his hands, leaning back in his chair.
“How’s my girlfriend doing?” he teases, mocking my lie.I roll my eyes.
“I only said that to get past the guard. Seems like your other girlfriends showed up too.”
He smirks. “I liked the last one best,” he says, making me blush.
He stands and leans against his desk, facing me.
“What’s really brought you here?” My tongue ties up for a moment before I answer.
“I…I’m just visiting the first man in my life,” I joke.
Kael chuckles. “I didn’t know the daughter of the Dela Vega Hotel empire, Elara Dela Vega, was a virgin,” he says, teasing.
“Shut up!!!”
“What if I wasn’t the guy that night? Would you have given in so easily?” he asks, suddenly serious, stepping closer.
I lift my head to meet his gaze, his height towering over me. I shrug.
“Who knows? Maybe?” I stand.
I tested the waters, suggesting he pose as my fake boyfriend to get back at Adrian.
Kael shut it down fast.
“Only one condition,” he said.
“Fuck buddies. No strings, no love, no commitment. I’ll play your boyfriend for the sex.” I considered it but shook my head.
“I’ll let you know if I’m okay with that.” After all, I wasn’t ready for commitment either. My heart couldn’t take another heartbreak.
“I’m done here. Bye.”As I turn to leave, Kael grabs my arm, pulling me close.
“Not so fast, baby,” he whispers in my ear, inhaling.
“I love your scent.” My body trembles as he nibbles my earlobe. His hand grazes my curves, squeezing, then smacking lightly.
“You’re such a tease,” he says, tilting my chin up. I see the intent in his eyes, feel his arousal pressing against me.
“If I kiss you now, you know I won’t stop,” he warns.
“Then don’t,” I say boldly.
“We’ve already done it once.” I bite my lip.
“Don’t tempt me, Elara,” he breathes heavily. “It might hurt again.”
“I don’t care about the pain. Don’t make me beg, Kael.” I press myself closer.
“I can handle it.” I tiptoe and kiss him, my lips brushing his.
He groans, losing control. What starts as a gentle kiss turns hungry.
I shudder, and all pretense of softness vanishes. Our longing takes over.
He yanks down my dress’s zipper, barely breaking the kiss.
The fabric pools on the carpeted floor. He unhooks my bra, pushing me onto the sofa, positioning himself above me.
His hand cushions my head, the other finding my breast.
My nipple hardens under his touch.
“Tell me what you want, baby,” he murmurs, kissing from my mouth to my earlobe, his tongue tracing its curves.
I gasp, quivering. He pauses to strip off his suit, tossing it aside.
I gasp at the feel of his body against mine. Intimate sex in his office sounds wild. The sofa’s pretty big.
I moan as his mouth claims my breasts, flicking and sucking each nipple.
“Kael!” I moan, gripping his hair.
“That’s it, baby. Moan for me,” he says between kisses. His knee parts my thighs, his hand cupping my core.
I tense. He sheds his remaining clothes, and I gasp at his full arousal.
He pulls off my last garment, tossing it away. His finger slides over my core, moving back and forth.
I moan. Then his tongue takes over, twirling, nibbling, sucking. My body arches. He stops, positioning himself above me.
“You locked the door, right?” I manage to ask.
“Of course,” he says.
“Fuck,” he curses as he enters. I flinch at the pain.
“Relax, I can be gentle.”
“No, I want it how you want it,” I say, adjusting to him.He turns primal at my words, moving fa
ster, deeper. We moan together.
He thrusts harder, faster, reaching me in ways I can’t describe.
“I’m cuming,” he whispers. With a few final strokes, he pulls out, releasing onto my stomach.
KAEL'S POV I had no choice but to drive Elara home. Her arms crossed and her eyes fixed out the window like I didn’t exist. She was still pissed, probably replaying what I’d said to her friends about them ditching her so easily. I didn’t mean for it to sting her like that anyway, but damn, she looked super cute when she's furious. When I pulled up to her building, she didn’t even wait for me to kill the engine. She flung the car door open, slid out, and stormed toward the elevator like she was on a mission. I locked the car and followed her, catching her just as she pressed the elevator button. Her eyes widened when she saw me walking toward her, and I swear I saw a flash of panic mixed with that fiery annoyance.“What the hell, Kael? Go home,” she snapped, her voice sharp enough to cut glass. The elevator doors started to slide shut, but I slipped my hand in just in time, stepping inside with a smirk. Her arms crossed tighter, and she spun to face me, her dark eyes blazing.
ELARA'S POV The moment our eyes locked, my heart started pounding like a drum. It was definitely not love… God, no..but the nagging feeling that I’d done something wrong behind Kael’s back hit me hard. We had an agreement, sure, but as long as I wasn’t flirting with other guys, we were fine yeah? I was just having a drink with my girls, nothing more.So why did I feel like I’d crossed some invisible line?“Gals, I’m hitting the bathroom,” I said, trying to sound casual.Callista and Vivi nodded, barely glancing up from their drinks. I stood and weaved through the crowd, my skin prickling like someone was watching my every step. You know that feeling like eyes are boring to you? Yeah, that. I took a deep breath, shaking it off. He’s not my boyfriend, Elara. Chill.Relax, you got this, I whispered to myself, though my nerves were still on edge.I cursed under my breath when I realized I had no clue where the bathroom was. The club’s pulsing music didn’t help. I tapped the shoul
Elara’s POVMy wish came true. Kael and I had lunch and dinner at a fancy restaurant, and it was perfect. Afterward, he drove me back to my condo. Of course , we couldn’t part ways without the main meal, and we had sex three times that day. First in my car, then in my bedroom, and finally in the bathroom. The next morning, my period arrived, and I told Kael. He didn’t have much to say afterall , just that he’d wait until it was over.Kael seems to be enjoying our agreement, and honestly, I can’t believe I’m in this situation. He’s pieced together half of my broken heart, the part shattered by Adrian when he betrayed me. Kael’s been teaching me new, wild things, things I never did before or imagined I would later do. I’m turning twenty-six next month, and at this stage, I should be thinking about starting a family.Well I owe so much to Kael. If he hadn’t come into my life, I’d probably still be drunk, and crying over Adrian’s cheating.“Elara, you coming with us tonight?” Call
ELARA'S POV I cursed under my breath when I saw my ex-boyfriend, Adrian, with his girlfriend, Selene, entering the FREX hotel. The hotel is owned by my family. Did they really choose my hotel to do their nonsense? I froze the moment they stepped inside. Through my blazing eyes, I watched their every move. It was only eight in the morning, and already my day felt ruined because of what I’d witnessed. Adrian knew we owned this place!!it’s my hotel, for crying out loud! What a shameless jerk. When they got their key, Selene snaked her arm around Adrian’s. I winced, feeling a wave of disgust. Honestly, I didn’t care anymore. What’s done is done, and not like I can undo the past or travel back to where it all began. All I could do was move on, and I was doing a damn good job of it.Once those two were out of sight, I stormed inside. We had a meeting about our new project, and my dad, Damian, had mentioned there was a new board of directors member. This new person apparently o
ELARA'S POV Callie , my best friend, stopped by early that morning. She was worried I might be spiraling, maybe even suicidal, after the heartbreak. As if I’d let a breakup reduce me to that. I’m not some fragile thing to be shattered by a jerk who didn’t deserve me.“You’re glowing, Elara,” Callie said, plopping onto the single sofa in my living room. “It’s like no one’s ever broken your heart.” I was so focused on the documents in front of me, I was signing some papers at least it kept my mind off things. “You’re imagining things,” I replied, barely looking up. “You and Dad said the same thing this morning. He called me radiant, now you are saying I'm glowing… same idea, different words. Thanks for the compliment, though.” I kept signing .Callie leaned forward, her voice teasing. “Come on, spill it. Is there someone mending your heart back together?” I paused, mid-page, and raised an eyebrow at her. “No. Why? Should I be crying all day, locked in my room, drowning in alcoh
