9. Meeting the president

"Sir, do I ask the driver to get the car ready?" Drew asked once they were back at Jake's office, but Jake didn't reply, he just stared at the glass wall opposite his table.

Drew looked to see if Jake was watching someone, through the one way translucent glass which served as a front wall but there was no one there.

"Sir?"Drew called to him."Sir?"Jake finally looked at him."do I ask the driver to get the car ready?"

"Do I have any meeting scheduled?"

"No sir, it's just that sir Edward called again to inform me that the president is still waiting." Drew said and watched his boss sigh.

"She did mention it was an office matter when she asked me back here right?" Jake asked looking back at wall.

"So I was informed by sir Edward, yes."Drew said watching his words, he didn't want to be involved in any drama between Jake and his mother, who prefered to be called by her position at the company.

"Get the car ready then."he heard Jake say.
