Lily and Mark came out of the Scott mansion. They both were in the car now when Mark asked Lily, “Why did you say that I will be the next King?”
“Because it is your duty. Do not run away from this opportunity. Lucian does not qualify to be a King,” Lily asserted with a smile.
“It is not about responsibility, Lily. There are actually many things,” proclaimed Mark as he laid his head back on the head restraint and closed his eyes. Lily watched him for a while. “I do not want your family to oppose you. I want our love to be a smooth ride,” stated Lily.
Mark opened his eyes and tilted his head. “Do you think I want to defy them and fight with them? Why do they want me to be king? Because they will get the benefits,” stated Mark outrageously.
Lily found Mark was angry at Lily. “You shall take rest. I will go home myself,” Lily suggested to Mark. Mark ran fingers through his hair. “Sorry,” he apologized.
