CHAPTER NINETEEN

  Steve was going to be picking Liam up in less than two hours.

Liam wasn't as nervous as he thought he was going to be about going to the party. Nick was going to be attending it too not because he fancied Trevor but because it was just another high school party to him. For him, attending parties threw by students at school was a normal thing he was just going to repeat. 

On hearing Liam was going to be attending the party, Nick automatically suggested picking him up. With a smile, Liam declined his request remembering Steve Reeds was going to be doing him that favor already.

"C'mon Jas," Liam pleaded for the millionth time on the phone. "You love parties, don't you? It'd be fun."

When he included having Jasmine tag along as a condition to him going to the party, he hadn't expected her to refuse going so strongly. He had been trying to come up with reasonable reasons to go since the moment
