LOGIN“Sexy,” the man muttered in Claudia’s ear.
Claudia couldn’t stop crying as she struggled to free herself from his grip, but he was far too strong. Inside her, Nyx whimpered in pain, urging her to fight, though Claudia knew it was hopeless. “It won’t hurt now that you’ve finally given in,” he sneered. His companions stood around them, watching with twisted amusement. Their whispers carried through the night. “She’s going to make him feel great.” “I heard her mate rejected her so no one will care if she’s used and discarded.” “She’s a wolfless girl. I just hope her curse doesn’t rub off on us.” Each word cut into Claudia, making her sob harder. She knew if they succeeded, the entire pack would find out, and the shame would crush her beyond repair. If they do this to me… I’ll end it all. I can’t keep living like this, Claudia thought, her heart sinking further into despair. The man pressed her hands into the brittle leaves and leaned in, his lips aiming for hers as she turned her face away in silent, resisting the kiss. Claudia’s spirit felt as if it were being torn from her body as tears streamed down her face, terrified of being touched by such a vile man. Claudia thought she had slipped away until he seized her chin and crushed his lips against hers in a brutal kiss. It was savage, forceful and suffocating like a predator devouring its prey. His guttural moans echoed through the trees, sending shivers down her spine. To Claudia, he was nothing but a monster, revolting and cruel. The taste of the kiss was foul, tainted with the bitter stench of smoke and alcohol that made Claudia nearly gagged. She tried to mask her disgust but she had no strength to resist his power, no courage to push him away. He loomed over her, claiming her as though she were nothing more than garbage. Claudia’s tears, to him, were meaningless. Her body to him was an object and he treated her as though she were disposable, something to be used once and forgotten. “Let’s get this over with,” he muttered, pulling away from the kiss only to tear away the last shred of Claudia’s clothing. In one swift motion, her bra was gone, discarded carelessly to the ground. “Please…” Claudia’s voice cracked as she begged. “Please don’t do this to me. I’ll do anything… just let me go.” He smacked Claudia across the cheek, forcing her into silence as warm blood trickled from her nose. Lowering his body again, he pressed his mouth toward her breast, his hand gripping her roughly. Claudia jerked to the side, fighting to stop him, but his furious eyes burned as he pinned her to the ground, driven by hunger and cruelty. “Arrrrhhhhh! Please, just spare me this once!” Claudia begged, shaking her head wildly. Her heart pounded with terror. In that moment she felt everything slipping away. Her first kiss, her innocence, her hope, her faith in the pack and her very sense of worth. Pain racked Claudia’s body, but the weight and lips of the man silenced her screams. Tears spilled relentlessly down Claudia’s face as she prayed he would stop. Instead, he grinned, winking at her with disgusting satisfaction. Then Claudia’s eyes caught something glinting near his hip. It was a dagger which had carelessly slipped from his pocket. Immediately, a flicker of hope stirred in her chest. Claudia steadied her breathing, forcing her body to go limp, pretending she had surrendered completely. Staring at the sky, she let her tears fall unchecked and slowly, her hand crept along the ground, searching. After some seconds of searching, Claudia’s fingers brushed the cold steel dagger. Closing her grip around the dagger, she drew him closer with her right hand, feigning submission. His friends, laughing and jeering, were too engrossed in the scene to notice the blade hidden in Claudia’s hand. The man who lay above Claudia assumed she was enjoying it and leaned closer, pressing a kiss against her neck after flooding her mouth with his disgusting saliva. But before he could go further, Claudia’s trembling hand slid the sharp, double-edged dagger upward, pressing it against his throat. With one desperate thrust, the blade cut deep. He was caught completely off guard that the dagger tore through his carotid artery, and hot blood spurted across Claudia’s face and chest. The young man clutched at his throat, eyes blazing with fury and shock. “Ar—howlllll!” His dying roar was soon echoed by his companions, their howls ripping through the forest as they began shifting into their wolf forms. Claudia staggered backward, horrified by what she had done. He had tried to rape her, and now he was dead at her hands. I just murdered someone… she sobbed inwardly, frozen in place. Her body no longer felt like her own. It was trembling uncontrollably, drenched in blood, tainted beyond repair. No matter how much Claudia wanted to wash it all away, the sensation of filth clung to her. Her gaze was locked on the lifeless figure at her feet and for some seconds, the world around Claudia faded. Then a chilling realization struck. His friends were now shifting into their wolf form. The sound of snapping bones and tearing skin filled the air as monstrous forms replaced human ones. Claudia stomach twisted, her legs weakened, and denial clouded her thoughts. They began to growl while rushing towards her in rage. Swiftly, Claudia shut her eyes, bracing for the inevitable. But then… “Mate!” The seductive words of an handsome young man rolled through the forest in a deep, commanding voice that froze everything around Claudia.“Huh?”“Gosh! Why did I say that!” Claudia exclaimed out loud as she pinched her cheeks aggressively. “This is definitely a dream because I know that I doze off during the car ride.” She went on, pinching herself even more.“Hahaha!” Lucain laughed out loud, placing his hands at each side of his waist. “This isn’t a dream, Claudia.”“What… you must be joki…”Swiftly, Lucain lowered his back as he removed his hands from his waist. He placed them above Claudia’s cheeks and then planted a kiss on her lips. He tilted his head toward the side, sucking on her lower lip as he shut his eyes, pulling Claudia closer to himself. At first Claudia was taken aback by the sudden kiss, but her body began to respond on its own. Ever so slowly, she closed her eyes and decided to follow his lead. To Claudia, Lucain tasted sweeter than the previous time. She held her breath while her heart raced faster than ever. She curled her toes and her fingertips, trying to contain the blissful sensation brewing wit
“I know.”For a few split seconds, Claudia froze, trying to process what she had just heard from Lucain. ‘Is my mind playing tricks on me, or did he just say he knows I’m wolfless?’ she wondered silently.“Baby girl, why are you still looking sad? I already know that you don’t have a wolf.”“Wh… what? Then how can you still call me your mate?”Lucain chuckled softly, using his index finger to give Claudia’s nose a gentle, playful poke. “I don’t care if you’re wolfless or not. You are who the moon goddess has destined to be mine, and that’s why it also doesn’t matter to me if you’re my stepsister or not.” Lucain purred as he leaned in closer to her neck, inhaling her scent.Claudia’s scent was intoxicating, warm and sweet, stirring something deep and primal within him.Claudia held her breath, feeling Lucain’s hot, intense breath against her skin. It was ticklish and thrilling at the same time, making her heart race as she forced her saliva down her throat. After what felt like hours,
Claudia smiled warmly, her fingers gently taking hold of Lucian’s hands. “Before we leave this room, can you please take your medication? I don’t want you feeling sick during the car ride,” Lucian said, his voice soft but full of care.Claudia chuckled lightly. “Of course,” she replied, a gentle warmth in her tone. She nodded, picking up the medicine from the bedside table. Reading the instructions on each bottle carefully, she then grabbed her water and swallowed the pills before turning her gaze back to Lucian. “All done,” she whispered, a faint smile on her lips.“Good girl,” he purred, his eyes softening. “Let’s get going.” Lucian led the way toward the pack’s main sitting room, which was vast and beautifully furnished.Unlike two days ago, only a few pack members were present, and all of them stared at Claudia in astonishment, silently admiring her beauty. She felt her cheeks warm under their gaze but held her head high, pride mixing with nervous excitement.Stepping outside, Cl
Claudia let out a deep sigh as she took off her bathrobe and turned on the shower, letting the warm water flow from her face down to the rest of her body. After bathing, she wrapped a white towel around her chest, stepped out of the bathroom, and curiously walked toward the other door. The moment she stepped inside, she reached out to find the light switch. After a few seconds, her fingers brushed against it, and she flicked it on.Instantly, Claudia gasped, her eyes widening in awe at what she saw. The room was a beautifully arranged walk-in closet. Clothes of every kind hung neatly on different racks, with gowns, tops, trousers, and skirts all separated with care. One section displayed delicate underwear, another shimmered with rows of jewelry, and a third was lined with elegant shoes. In the corner stood a full-length mirror framed with lit bulbs beside a vanity table stocked with perfumes, lotions, and neatly arranged body care items.Claudia scanned the clothing sections, her lip
“Hey, come back,” Claudia calls, a warm smile on her lips. “You don’t have to do anything to Aunt Susan. I’ve always believed in karma; someday it will deal with her.”Lucian halts a few inches from the door, his fist clenching so tight it looks like he might split his palm. “I… I believe in karma too, Claudia, but sometimes it’s best to take matters into your own hands,” he says, voice low. Claudia can’t help but chuckle.“Just come and sit with me,” she whispers, turning her attention back to her food.Lucian feels the urge to argue more about teaching Aunt Susan and her household a lesson, but he can tell from Claudia’s tone that if he hurts her aunt, she will be furious with him. He lets the thought go and moves to sit beside her. With a loud sigh, Lucian swiftly turned around and made his way back to the bed. He took his seat beside Claudia before letting out a deep breath. “Why are you so kind?” he inquired, tilting his brows in curiosity. He wanted to understand why Claudia tre
Lucian’s head snapped to the side from the force of the slap, and at that same moment, a knock sounded at the entrance door.Claudia blinked rapidly, her eyelashes fluttering as she placed a trembling hand over her chest, trying to steady her racing heartbeat. Fear settled in her stomach as she stared at Lucian’s stunned expression, terrified that he might lash out.“Baby girl, take a deep breath, okay?” Lucian said softly, his voice calm and soothing as he rubbed his cheek where she had hit him. “You had a nightmare. You just need to relax.”Claudia nodded weakly and exhaled shakily. “I was… I was being thrown out. They were… they were going to…” Her voice faltered, breaking apart as tears streamed down her cheeks.Lucian’s eyes softened as he watched her struggle to speak.“Wait,” she whispered, a flicker of realization crossing her face. “Did I… did I hit you when I woke up?”Lucian gave a small chuckle and nodded, trying to ease the tension.Claudia’s eyes widened in horror. “Huh?
