"Sweet Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!" Kevin yelled as he grabbed Celine and dove out of April's way.
Todd threw himself in the opposite direction, narrowly escaping the swipe of an angry tail as April shot forward, bellowing again in defiance as she faced off against the God of Monsters himself.
Typhon answered in kind, transforming into his monstrous dragon, angered beyond reason that this insignificant female dared to break the rules of combat. The tension in the air was palpable as April refused to back down, choosing instead to bellow a second challenge as she stepped in front of Adrastus and Zade, shielding them both against Typhon's beast.
Adrastus stopped pursuing Zade, as he looked on in wonder at the beauty of his Queen, and he was in such awe, it took him a moment to realize what April was doing.
