It was time to go home.

Edward couldn’t decide if he was more excited or more anxious about it. Everything had been going so well between him and Vanessa, but that was on vacation.

Now it was time to go back to the real world.

It didn’t help that everything felt like a rush.

A rush to get the rental back into order. A rush to pack everything. A rush to get to the airport on time.
