CHAPTER ~ 124

Someone was being loud in the house. That wasn’t surprising. But what was surprising was that Edward quickly realized he wasn’t alone in his bed.

Without opening his eyes Edward could feel the comforting weight of Vanessa’s body half flung over his. A leg was tangled in between his, an arm wrapped around him, and a face pressed against his neck.

As he blinked and took stock of his bedroom he realized they must have fallen asleep watching television because it was actually still on.

He remembered the butterflies in his stomach when Vanessa had curled up closer to him the night before, but the cuddling must have just happened when they fell asleep.

Really he was helpless to bring his fingers up through Vanessa’s hair, enjoying the sleepy groan that
