Twenty
Jordan picked the letter that was on Aubrey's car windshield. He had already thought that it could be a letter from a fan, but on opening the letter after asking for Aubrey's permission, he was sure that it was not from a fan. It was more of a threat. This letter was most probably from the same person who sent Aubrey the teddy bear.
"What does it say?" Aubrey asked him. He did not want to freak her out, but she had the right to know. She needed to take the necessary precautions after all.
'Aubrey, Jordan is no good for you. What was he doing at your place last night? You're much better than him. Maybe if you looked thoroughly, you'd be able to see through his deceitful acts.
You deserve to be treated like royalty and he's not the one to do that.

He did not leave her side even though she was not as shaken up as she used to be, but he was being extremely cautious, like how one approaches a butterfly, afraid of scaring it away. Maria woke up in the morning and she made her way to the kitchen after she took a shower. On seeing two figures sleeping on the couch, she jumped back and let out a muffled scream as she placed a hand over her chest. It was turned into a bed, so it would be more comfortable.
