Chapter ten.

"Hah." I let out a yawn, massaging my stiff shoulders.

Opening my eyes, I come face-to-face with an enlarged head.

"Haa!!!" I back up against the couch, almost falling over, when he grabs my legs and pulls me back up.

"Emiliano?" I breathe out, a hand on my chest.

What was he doing, staring at me?

He barely glanced my way before walking into the bathroom.

He is such a strange person. I place my bare legs on the ground, jerking away because of the piercing cold. "No, no way. Let me sleep for a little more."

When I open my eyes again, the room is empty of Emiliano.

I take a long bath, taking my time to use the shower. And there is also a tub. I just have to sit, and it rains on me.

This could make me bathe all day, but it wouldn't be nice to waste water, so I turn it off, then tie a towel around me.

"Haa, why is it so cold today?" I complain softly. "Thankfully, I don't have a fever anymore." I never want to catch a fever after this.
