Sianna's POV
After dinner, uncle Edward asked my father if he could take me to their house.
My father agreed and blessed me with a happy married life, which I know is impossible when my husband is Mr. Aldrich Lionel. Still, I smiled to please my father.
After saying our goodbyes to my father and Lily, we made our way outside, where the driver opened his car door and, to my surprise, Aldrich waited for me to enter first.
I sat in the seat's corner, and Aldrich quickly followed me with his infamous neutral expressions and ice-cold yet dark eyes.
The journey was silent, with neither of us saying anything. I took a deep breath and looked out the window as the cold wind hit my face, allowing my hair strands to move freely.
For a split second, I thought Aldrich was staring at me, but when I tilted my head to his side, I discovered him busy with his phone.
I looked straight after brushing the thought away. After a while, the car
Sianna's POV "You're right, it's our first night, and we should make the most of it..." His expression darkened and became completely indecipherable, terrifying me to the core. "...Or should we?" And the moment he took one intimidating step towards me, time stood still! I took one step back, holding my gown tightly to my chest, with equal speed and space. He took another step towards me, his gaze fixed on mine, forcing me to take another step back. This continues until my almost naked back hits the cold bathroom tiles. The unusually large bathroom suddenly appears to be very small and hot. His right hand lifted, and my gaze followed it until it came to rest at the side of my head; his left hand mirrored the action, and my gaze followed it as well until I was encased between his arms. As our eyes met, my chest heaved up and down, my breathing became uneven, and my heart began to drum in my chest as I became nervous due to
Sianna's POV My tongue moistened my lips as I became anxious all of a sudden, as if his eyes flickered down and stopped at my lips every time. "Stop doing this," he said, his gaze fixed on my lips. "Stop doing what?" My voice was so low that it barely reached my own ears when I inquired. Without responding to my question, he closed his eyes tightly and took a sharp, audible breath before leaping out of bed, creating a safe distance between us as if I were a deadly disease. What was he asking me to put a stop to? Because if I know, I'll do it frequently to irritate him even more. I relaxed as he approached the door, and my t-shirt hiked up due to pandiculation. I smelled exactly like him! It's time to start over! ———————————- I stepped down after getting ready because one of the maids came to summon me for breakfast. This is when my eyes were drawn to the beauty of the mansion, as they had been too focused
Sianna's POV "Lion," I heard a feminine voice say; she was the intruder who didn't even ask permission before barging in. "Hello, my Deliah Darling," Aldrich said as he approached her with open arms. "How are you?" By looking at the girl, his voice implied how happy he is. He was not speaking to her in a rude manner, as he does to me and other people. "Overwhelmed," she said. "What happened?" He was curious. "You're asking me what happened after you've done everything?" "Are you serious, Aldrich?" she folded her arms across her chest. She was still oblivious to my presence in the room because her mind was too preoccupied with Aldrich. "You're calling me Aldrich, which means the situation is very serious," he mumbled. "Have a seat, we can talk, you know," he offered her a seat. The way Aldrich treats her demonstrates that this girl means something to him; perhaps she is one of those people he admires.
Sianna's POV Shrugging my shoulders and allowing the couple their privacy, I turned on my heels, only to collide with a pillar and land on the floor once more. Why everything good is happening with me today! I rubbed my brow and nose and looked up to see a man instead of a pillar staring down at me. While I was trying to recognize his face, the man was staring at me from head to toe, examining something. He looks familiar, but I can't place him; he's somewhere in the back of my mind, but where? "Are you having trouble recognizing me?" He knelt to my level and extended his hand for assistance. He added, "Rapunzel." Oh! It finally clicked! "Pitter-patter" My face lit up, and I stood up with the help of his hand. "Thank God, I thought you'd forgotten about me," he mocked. "No, it's just that we're meeting after fourteen years and your appearance has completely changed, so... you know..." I told him wh
Sianna's POV "Sia, go get ready," dad said politely, a smile on his lips. I was in a good mood because I had just gotten home from the hospital, and seeing my father all happy and recovering lifted my spirits as well. Aldrich has been furious with me since the day he found out I met Peter. He has crushed me under the weight of work, partly because he is still angry that I am working with him, and partly because he does not want me to meet anyone. Although his lips did not move to say anything that day, his eyes threatened me not to meet Peter again. As if I'm going to listen to him! Huh! We were having our evening tea when Dad abruptly asked me to get ready. Not only was I perplexed, but so was Aldrich. As a result, he asked me a question. "Why?" "You forgot you had to go to the charity gala dinner today. You were looking forward to this event because there would be a plethora of prospects to pursue who could assist you i
Sianna's POV While I was trying to match his long, authoritative, and aggressive tramps, Aldrich dragged me out of the hall. His tread was so powerful that it appears he wants to dig holes in the ground with his feet alone. A few drops of water fell on my face, and I looked up to see that the sky was pitch black, with no sign of stars. Clouds appear to be on the verge of sobbing. When Aldrich jerked me around and made me stand in front of him, my attention was drawn to him. "What on earth did you think you were doing there?" Aldrich roared, and the clouds thundered in response, and the wind began to blow wildly, making me shiver as the cold breeze hit my exposed skin with ferocity. "Can't you just sit for a few minutes? Hunh?" Aldrich grabbed my shoulders and shook me. My eyes narrowed slightly as I struggled to understand what he was saying. "This is why I didn't bring you here," he said, leaving my shoulder, and I stumb
Aldrich's POV I moved my lips back when I felt her feather like hands pushing me away. "Fuck" When her head jerked to one side and her eyes closed unexpectedly, I let out a groan. My hands wrapped around her limp body right away to keep her from falling. I quickly picked her up and placed the upper part of her body on the car's bonnet. "Sianna" I gently tapped her cheek in an attempt to reawaken her consciousness, but nothing worked. The rain was pouring down on her face and body, drenching her even further. My hands moved up to her lips, which had turned purple and ice cold. I slid my hands down her arms, taking her chilled palms in between mine to rub them and provide her with some heat to bring her back to her senses. Every effort I made was futile because this obstinate girl refused to open her eyes. My feet ran towards my car, bending down and picking her up in bridal style. I soon found myself frantically running
Sianna's POV It was off work today because it was Saturday, but that workaholic man has been working in his study room since the morning. I've been ignoring him as much as possible since the day he insulted me, and it's proven to be the best solution to every problem. I've made it clear to him that if he raises his finger on my upbringing one more time, I'll leave him and his house. The only problem is that the kiss we shared that day was photographed by the press and went viral. He didn't want to introduce me as his wife to many people, but now the entire world knows. This was one of the reasons he kept the wedding private. Lily has been eating my brain since that day, asking about my first experience. I decided to read a mysterious book because I was bored. I was deep in my book when I heard the door click shut. I continued reading the lines without looking up because I already knew who the intruder was. No one in this mansion is allowed to enter hi
