Today is a day like any other where loneliness at times torments me by noticing the absence of those I love since I don't have them close.

There I have been standing for a while now next to the large sliding window of my office from which I am carefully observing how the courtyard of the Bastrii mansion my house is surrounded by loneliness and hopelessness.

The large Bastrii residence is located in Belcier, close to the city center on a side where nature and the artificial coexist in close harmony.

In a few words, it is nothing more and nothing less than a small strait of the forest that goes into the city and which provides an obvious feeling of privacy for the same in the middle of such a portion hidden from the view of curious passers-by that eccentric home is located.

Some years have already passed since this house was taken over by the gloomy figure of death who seemed to dance with joy against its residents causing it to be abandoned.

Both my life and that of my parents that tragic day in which the war broke out inside, were running an enormous danger after one of the neighboring herds that were previously thought to be our ally declared war on us, almost ending our existence.

Due to some circumstances where perhaps fate was placed in our favor, the three of us managed to save ourselves; we managed to flee in the face of the possibilities against us, even despite finding our bodies bruised and sore from the weight of such an ordeal.

Already homeless we were forced to leave Belcier and disappear completely erasing our trace so the world forgot about our existence for a good period.

Sometime later, after keeping you hidden for a long time with the excuse that my future could not be doomed by your mistakes, after two years lost from the sight of the wolves, my parents sent me to the city under the protection of Lyall.

That wolf was nothing more than his most faithful servant who without asking simply took me under his care and protection so I ended up back again, although different because even despite being a child my mind had matured drastically.

Lyall without hesitation took me in his hands and protected me, although I had no way of paying him he welcomed me, and despite this, he educated me and trained me to be an excellent leader without blemish, which I got, but what he prized and one of blood.

So it was that, after having enough strength, after facing several contests against the pack which had raised weapons against us the Bastri because after their uprising ended up settling here in the residence, together with a large army of wolves completely at my service that we faced them to recover my home.

… … … …

Such a chaotic life has to be led when you are the boss, although well it is a simple consequence which I gladly accepted when I decided to become part of this mafia world to exploit in the same way with fortitude my nature as a wolf, although not in a positive way that we say.

Knock, knock, knock!

That sound resonates in the middle of the silence between all my office giving me notice that someone appeals for my presence.

Those knuckles collide with special emphasis against the wood agitated and guided by a subtle touch of insistence that I can perceive with complete clarity added to the slight aroma of tension coming from the other side that enters through the cracks of the one with a door I can assume that a dilemma has to arise.

With evident stealth that entrance is opened revealing itself therefore to the person who is on the other side, so due to such intervention, I am obliged to turn around in the direction of this and leave the so unparalleled calm that the lonely green area of this huge place provides me.

"Excuse me, sir. "

The one who emphasizes that is Lyall once he crosses the threshold, who with a cold attitude pronounces those words while approaching with his head semi-bent.

Lyall is both my friend, advisor, and tutor, besides he is the main wolf that guides the betas of the pack that I lead.

Such is the same way my right hand, my best strategist, an expert in espionage capable of camouflaging himself in the best way, although his work is not only limited to this.

Once inside and after approaching my desk once he lays his eyes on me I can perceive that without a doubt something had happened, something that filled me with intrigue because I perfectly know his expressions along with his mood swings when something is not right.

"What's the matter? "I emphasize those words with a touch of coldness taken by curiosity.

"There was a problem in the warehouse. "

"What kind of problem? "

"The cargo was intercepted, I don't know how, but the cops were able to find the location and the time of the delivery; simply when the Italians arrived at the port they launched themselves from the shadows, they didn't give us even the slightest opportunity to think, the only thing we could do was flee, of course, we could because several of our men were captured. "

"They were able to save something. "

"No, nothing at all, they have complete possession of the goods. "

"Those assholes, I knew it from the beginning all this did not give me a good thorn. "

For a moment I lowered my gaze to get ready to think I had a tangle of thoughts that hovered relentlessly producing in me a feeling of unease and when I was finally ready I raised my head to reply while he remained silent.

"Lyall takes it upon yourself to find out who is responsible, something tells me that there is a mole between us... "

I said with obvious anger the discomfort was undoubtedly consuming me inside and without a doubt, I was not releasing it as soon as possible it was going to burst, and not in a very pleasant way.

Before that, I took my hands and slammed them hard against the desk as I continued to say.

"I don't want to make direct accusations, but I have my doubts about the envoy of the alphas, bring him before me, he will have to give a good explanation for all this because he was the main responsible for conducting the negotiations. "

"Yes sir. "

"In addition, he requests an urgent meeting with the alphas council, we need to resolve this as soon as possible, so he must be aware of the failure of the delivery without delving too deeply into the details, I'll take care of the rest. "

"Whatever I say" and without thinking twice that one left that office in an obvious hurry.

That news I was silent with heaviness for a while that everything had brought me mixed up since it was not at all normal the tranquility that had been lodged in the environment and even less by the authorities.

The cops know about my moves with the mafia or at least they presume them so usually, those find themselves on our heels damaging our businesses and putting us in a bad position.

As long as looking at it from that point it is understandable the bitter feeling of distrust that was lodged in me until the right moment of the agreement until the elders intervened.

For quite some time, relations with the Italians had been progressing thanks to my intervention, so we were quickly able to establish a good agreement for each party, with great cunning I had managed to get them to give the go-ahead and agree to enter into negotiations with us.

At first, everything was going well but not very well the four alphas that make up the wolf council found out about such an achievement and intervened to take over such credit since they consider me a simple child incapable of fulfilling such objectives.

… … …

Sometime after Lyall left I took a deep breath reluctantly taken by anger since I presumed that nothing good would come of all this, I was overwhelmed, restless, and loaded with vile and destructive thoughts.

The haze in the presence of my bad mood out of nowhere began to torment me causing me to perceive that office shrinking over me.

The air contained there began to become extremely heavy becoming almost impossible to breathe at least that's how I perceived it, although for no more than a few minutes I was there fighting against myself until I could not stand it anymore and approaching the window where I was previously I opened it suddenly leaving that place quickly.

Relieved once I was outside, I took a deep breath of the fresh air that entered my lungs while I raised my head by bringing my hands up to my hips, a completely necessary relief.

Before that view, I thought to stand there for a while doing absolutely nothing but contemplating the landscape, but circumstances would not allow me to do so.

"Mr. Bastrii. "

That shrill voice resonates behind me, increasing my tension in a new instance, without even turning I know who the person is there because I recognize his voice.

"Leila I hope that what you have to say is important because I'm not in the mood to put up with your nonsense. "

Leila is the daughter of Mrs. Zoe who is the housekeeper of the mansion, more than anything she is the one who controls all the movement that corresponds to the tasks that have to be carried out in such a place.

"I imagine it is, I don't know what plans you have for today. "

Again she took a deep breath, for such a young lady is known for testing my patience in more ways than one.

"Just tell me what you need. "

"Bazili his driver is at the entrance, he asked me to let him know that everything is ready to leave. "

And not very well I listened to her a memory flashed through my head.

"After the appointment, I had completely forgotten about it. "

Without any further intervention, moving away from Leila, I return to the place from which I previously fled the office, to take the coat from the rack that completes the suit I was wearing to finish arranging my clothes in the neatest way that time allowed me and thus leave my office without looking back.

It only took me a few seconds to leave the house and Bazili was already waiting at the entrance nonchalantly, it seemed that he had been waiting for me for a long time because of how he looked so indifferent and it was so much his carelessness that as if nothing remained semi-reclining on the vehicle.

From a distance I watched him sneakily thinking that perhaps he would notice my presence as I approached or, even he would detect my scent, but, I was completely at his service.

He shamelessly approached me to him, but nothing ignored was what he reflected so I estimate that I am probably painting like a work of art or that at that moment I am completely non-existent to him and it is not until I purposely coughed...

"Cof, of...!  "let him fix his gaze on me.

With a nervous attitude, he straightens up and goes to arrange his clothes with great dexterity and speed, he goes to the door of the car that gives to the back seat, which he opens so that I finally entered his vicinity.

Without wasting time Bazili accelerates the car leaving the residence in a great hurry, he was extremely focused on the road while I lay distracted in the back.

I admit it was my fault what happened, but otherwise, I would not have come across those beautiful blue eyes.

We had already been traveling along that road for a few minutes when out of great curiosity I asked Bazili something that I assumed was important.

"Where did you leave the documents I handed over to you this morning? "

"They are here in front of Mr. Bastrii. "

"Do me the favor of providing them for me, now. "

It was only a tiny fraction of seconds in which Bazili extended his hand to the co-pilot's seat to extract the folder that lay on its surface thus diverting his view when out of nowhere a girl crossed us on the way.

Surprises and more surprises are added to this chaotic story, which should not be worth the surprise redundancy for us because it is what has shone the most since we both met, so now with the appearance of this letter new problems are added that, although I do not want to accept it, it is evident that they will make the past come back to light to want to destroy the present. At the end of everything, reading the last words that were part of that delicate letter made a huge commotion form in our thoughts, it was first of all how that made me feel and it was logical to understand or even think that for whoever was next to me would undoubtedly feel much worse. Almost immediately when I took my eyes away from those pieces of paper I guided my eyes to where Dominieck was since I wanted to see his face because I needed to discover in him, that so much of what was written had affected him, because knowing about his father already dead through these lines I estimate was not the most ac

Hello my little children; my beloved son Dominieck and my beloved girl Emma who gave me the title of grandfather. So many years have passed since the last time my beloved and I saw them, that when I remember it it is difficult for me not to write these lines without having first shed a few tears as a result of the pain that memories cause me when they lash out against me, torturing me without any mercy. Such thoughts make this even more difficult, which in itself already is, so much so that it even forces me to question whether what my beloved Aerdmond and I did was the right thing and I am talking about having left them practically to their fate at the time, because I feel that without a doubt we could have fought even harder and freed them from much of this cruel torment, although that undoubtedly would have condemned us even faster to death. So, the truth is I am aware that, if this letter has reached your hands it means that we are no longer, Aerdmond and I have perished be

"Something that will surely surprise you. " Dominieck began to pull me insistently, apparently it was nothing of absolute danger, but nevertheless I had my reservations "surely there is nothing to fear. " "Not at all, trust me. " Keeping myself immersed in the suspicion that all this causes, for a moment I refused his request a few more times because I was afraid of seeing something that was not to my fair liking there, but Dominieck insisted and insisted as he always did, until in the end I managed to convince myself and I had no choice but to accept. He took my hands as if I were some little child who is just beginning to take his first steps and still does not have enough confidence to be able to take them for fair independence, while he kept his back guiding me into that place, a place in which not very well received me with an unexpected company. "What! "i replied not very well I saw what all that secret was about, since on the desk next to the bed rested the mo

Seeing the anger in me, Lyall raised his hands in the air in the direction of the front in denial while repeating "no, not at all. " That man said that while a small smile settled in the corner of his mouth, an expression that he maintained all that time and until eventually he indicated again "I leave that to Dominieck, he is an expert taster of blows that in a few words have marked your name or even Martin's. Dominieck, listening to him, was sorry, apparently those words had caused him discomfort, but he did not want to let her notice, more nevertheless almost continuously indicated. "Lyall stop bothering her, I don't know that you're going to end up condemning me to death and that's why I might not exactly receive hugs, kisses and chocolates," Dominieck reproved again with some obvious embarrassment. After that promulgating that between the two there arose a jocular moment for which I was evidently responsible, first of all such men seemed to laugh satisfied with each

Dominieck continued to be punctual in each of his words, emphasizing those which he thought prudent, implying above all that this was part of an absolute truth. "The soldiers with their weapons in hand looked in the direction of the trees hoping to observe some movement that would serve as a starting point to be able to shoot after having loaded them again, without imagining that karma would come to them in another way and a particular one. " ... While those were distracted waiting for an event that would not happen, no one noticed how heavy the air and the environment became; out of nowhere and little by little the breeze began to whip, first the wind felt quite light so it could merely be associated with a mere refreshing breeze and suddenly, due to the ignorance of the soldiers, it began to increase with intensity, trapping them before they could get to do something. ... That one, to the surprise of everyone, formed a kind of tornado which made the soldiers stay piled righ

"Many years ago, back in the days when humanity still did not think about making itself known with the imposing modernity of this century, not ignoring its achievements and its advances to our bad luck, the story of the moon wolves emerged among the packs, one which far surpasses fantasy stories and that for a long time the truth was tried to reproduce without much success. " Dominieck began to narrate all that while she took her gaze away from me and left her lost in the distance more and more focused as if she were looking with a demand to remember. "At that time the world for wolves was much more complicated than now, since, if it could be said that unlike those times we now have a place in such a happy creation, so to speak, that does not take away the fact that we have to live with restrictions because first of all we must respect the mind and fear and its very existence in the world, speaking of humans, of course, to maintain balance, although we are allowed to be in turns
