Catch me, Alpha

“Where exactly we are heading?” I asked although I have a strong feeling about where he was taking me. We were in the no-man’s land and looking at the familiar trees we crossed by I can make a good guess. He slowly and almost nonchalantly hold my hand in his, our fingers interwind.

I grin, Reed smiled, he tried to repress it but I have seen it already. We walked through the forest and soon find ourselves in the front of the same old tree. The tree was older than the others, probably oldest in the forest covering a huge canopy and area. Its’ branches were covered in the lichen. it is mid-November; you can feel the coldness in the air.

Reed looked at me and smiled again before turning his gaze back to the tree. he looked deep in thoughts and I contemplated for a second to disturb him. he shake his head and turned his attention back to me.

His eyes as if sardonically lifted and he started walking in my direction. Me as a deer caught in a spotlight
