Damien’s pov

“Any reports you have on you?” I asked seeing Lilith standing in front of me. she looked like she wanted to say something but won’t talk.

As expected, she shook her head in no. I sighed.

“What? You won’t trust my choice?” I asked and she again shook her head in a no. A smile automatically come on my mouth. She never says anything.

“You mean to say that I should not trust them?” I asked and he bowed down her head more.

“I believe sire, you should not be more inviting with the strangers. They are not worthy of your kindness.” She said and I smiled.

“Lift your head.” I said and she complied. “I told you not to be so formal when there are only both of us.” I scolded her.

“Forgive me sire.” She said and I started laughing. She lowered her head guiltily.

“You think they will find the necklace?” she asked after a while.

“I don’t know but it will be worth of my time.” I said and looked past her.
