Hello Lovely People!!! I successfully completed my second year as a medical student and two more years and i will be a doctor hehe sorry for the delay. I love writing i really do. Love you guysssss;) Danish
Esma’s pov “We are going to the Noman’s land.” I said as I adjusted myself on the seat. I put my seatbelt and looked through the side view mirror as the house of Roxy and Jason was blurring. I kept my eyes there until I lost the sight of it. Asher didn’t speak then and silence fell between us. It was not awkward kind, it was peaceful and connecting. He programmed the GPS and press a switch on the steering wheel and a classical orchestral piece fills the car. “What’s this?” I ask as the sweet, sweet sound of a hundred violin strings assails us. “It’s from La Traviata. An opera by Verdi.” Oh, my… it’s lovely. “La Traviata? I’ve heard of that. I can’t think where. What does it mean?” Asher glances at me and smirks. “Well, literally, the woman led astray. It’s based on Alexander Dumas’s book, La Dame aux Camelias.” I opened the strange book Roxy gave me. It was torn from several places, most of its pages were unrecognizable, it was all tattered and torn but some of its pages were
Esma’s pov “We are here.” Asher declared as we both were sitting in the car. I closed my eyes and take several breaths before opening them. I don’t know why but I felt conflicted and kind of scared. Scared to open the gate now. well, its too late now. my subconscious snaps at me. “Let’s go.” Asher said breaking my trance. He must have sensed my inner turmoil. I hummed and smiled at his direction. “Thank you, Asher. Thank you for everything you have done for me till now.” I said from the bottom of my heart. I mean it. He was the only one who sticks by my side since I ever know him and I don’t know much about him at the first place. Hell, I don’t even know his surname. Only because I was his alpha’s mate, he followed me without question. He was always by my side. no matter what. He followed my every order without question. I can tell why Reed trusted him so much. Asher… he was truly a remarkable man. I respects him for his character. Asher looked at me half embarrassed half surpr
Esma’s pov Finally, when the last torch lit up the room at the back, I notice a huge statue, whose face was intact. It was beautiful and magnificent. I was literally in awe, admiring the craftsmanship. It was no doubt the statue was of the god. Below the statue, there was yet another chair. A huge one. My blood turns cold when I saw a figure sitting on the chair. The figure was sitting on the throne. His face was covered with the huge black hood, casting silhouettes on its face. long black cloak over his shoulders, resting lazily on the ground. He was sitting on the biggest chair and by the look of it, it was approximately five feet tall and still the cloak was reaching the ground. too much waste of the fabric. Even sitting on the big chair, he was tall and towering and I wonder how tall he would be once he stood in front of me. Might be as tall as Reed if not more. He had a royal aura about him. I know by the single glance; he was looking at me from the hood. I could see him ey
Esma’s pov Damien, the god of chaos. The ancient one. One of the most powerful gods. The lights filled the room and I saw his beautiful features. He was truly mesmerizing. Tall stature, silver eyes, although he was standing approximately twenty feet away from me, all my senses were screaming at me to run away. I don’t know if it was his aura. It was my general instinct to have as much distance between us. I was a scaredy cat in front of him. My head bowed on its own but my eyes were fixated on his beautiful face. his thick eyebrows, his eye lashes, his perfect nose, his thin lips. “I gave it to you.” he said and I pursed my lips. My hunch was right. He was that librarian who appeared last time and recommended it that book. But there was nothing about him that stands out that day. If I would have known… if only I could go back in time. “It served its purpose.” I said and didn’t lift my head. It was unequivocal oath to myself. I don’t know if it was fear from the power or the fact t
“God has always been stingy with his creation. And we my dear, we no different than him.” he said and started walking towards us. With every step he takes, my heart started to beat faster. Asher was on my side but I know he was no match for him or Lilith. “God is cruel. C-R-U-E-L.” Damien said as he takes steps slowly. He stopped and look at me. his face was unreadable. I don’t know what he was trying to look at my face but he looked lost in thought. After what seems to be eternity, he finally spoke. “God is stingy with creation. God could have created any world he wanted. He could have created a world without conflicts, without pain, without death…” he said and there was a slight change in his voice. His old demurring voice was gone, there was slight annoyance, a pinge of complaint. “And what did he create.” His eyes didn’t left mine. they were drawing me in. Grey eyes I have never seen before. they remind me of ash. The ash left after the destruction. “What?” I didn’t realise I
Beginning of everything. The god created the world single-handedly with all his might and created the human kind in the reflection of his own image. He created the world in seven days.He made the protectors to oversee the world, they were given the task and responsibility to look after the place that God had created for them but on one condition. The gods were not allowed to interfere in the matter of human.Along with Hades and Poseidon, Zeus shared the rule of the world and became king of Olympus. Poseidon was the king of sea and Hades was assigned as a lord of underground. The first of the divines formed from the mere dust resembled other celestial beings like sun, earth, moon and stars.Luna, goddess of the moon, truly represented the moon itself.Although the ancients considered Hecate and Artemis counted as lunar goddesses, only Luna was the moon itself. She is said to have driven the mo
Hecate’s pov“Just stop the chariot here only.” I ordered the horsemen who nodded immediately. I gazed above from the cloak and let the light touched my face. The sun was setting down. It will be soon the time of dusk.“What exactly you are here for if I may ask?” the man asked still driving the chariot not looking back. The road was jarring and I had to hold the handle for the balance.“I am going to meet someone.” I said looking ahead. the horse neighed as he pulled the ropes too tightly.“Nobody in the past thirty years or so have been living here, you are the first one whom I am taking on this road.” I shake my head. He didn’t know anything. Thirty years? This area was left barren for the last hundred years, the civilization had left this place at the beginning of the twentieth century.“Honestly, If I didn’t want the money ur
Reed’s povToday marked me one month since I left her. Since she left me. I closed my eyes and the same memory from the forest haunts me.“Please take your warriors back to your pack with you.”She said and quaffed loudly as if she was trying not to break in tears in front of me.“Your warriors didn’t deserve to die and that to such a horrible death and especially for me.”This time she looked away.“Please order them, if something happens to any one of them, I won’t be able to forgive myself.”A single tear escaped her eye and something inside me stirs. Her pained expression, her tearful voice lingered in my head.I can’t get myself away from her. And now, when she knew everything about me, she is my light. I placed my fingers on her chin and make her look into my eyes, to show her I am sincere.“You are their Lun
