Chapter - 76 The couple are back.
After returning from the Council of Kings, Samudra was in a very good mood. His major headache had been solved. Chanda Bhadra was a much trustworthy ruler than his brothers hence Kaingitya weren't a problem anymore. With Chuda held as prisoner, Bhadra could rule without hindrance. This allowed Samudra to concentrate on his own kingdom. He started weeding out the Kaingitya sympathisers and his Uncle's aides one by one from his beloved Nishantha.
Tanisi was checked by the Royal doctor on returning and he prescribed some medicines. Initially it was fine, but soon Tanisi started dreading the medicines. Her tiredness returned. Samudra was very busy. She didn't bring it up with him and instead started to throw the medicines away instead of consuming them.

She regained her composure and was now ashamed at her behavior. She lowered her head and breaking free from his embrace, she dressed his wound. Samudra looked at her lovingly. She caught sight of this and didn't know how to react. She got up and simply left the place. Samudra sat down. After breakfast, Samudra took Tanisi to meet Naksha who told them about Bhavabhooti's murder. He was fed up of the hatred he received everywhere he went.
