"We finally met," Amethyst said as they both accepted his hand.

Their hands were together just like how they didn't move their eyes away from each other. Amethyst cannot read his eyes and so Gavin was. They were both building a huge wall to hide each other's secrets.

"You refused to search your island the last time we sent our men here," Agatha brought up. Gavin glanced at the man behind them, and he remembered who that man was. He was the one who went here and tried to search the island.

"It's because your men came here as if they own the world. I find it really disrespectful. You should not skip the formality," he drew that wide smile on his lips. But in Amethyst's eyes, it was a sly smile.

"What kind of formality do you want? That's why we're here to ask for your permission," Amethyst said firmly, trying to read through his eyes.
