Culprits

"Why didn't you tell them what we know?" Agatha asked Amethyst while they were in the garden of Amara's parents' mansion. Amethyst was smoking. This became her habit when she wanted to calm her mind from everything that's stressing her.

She blew out a smoke from her cigarette as she faced Agatha. Their entire clan were still inside, having their own worlds now.

"We cannot trust anyone, Agatha. Who knows? One of them could be the traitor," she explained and blew another smoke.

"Are you saying that all those attacks were made by one of us here?" Agatha asked unbelievably. Amethyst threw the cigarette on the ground and stepped on it.

"Yes, Agatha. It could be me, it could be you, it could be any of us." She said firmly. Amethyst eyed Agatha closely and started to wonder if she was innocent or not.

"Tell me, Agatha…" she uttered and remained cold stares at her. "Can you do such a cruel thing to Amara?" She was testing her.
