Chap 1: Difficult interview

Magnificent, splendid villa. 

The beautiful girl turned her head and looked back at where she had relied for the past four years upon.

"Have you decided?" 

The beautiful girl closed her long lashes, and she smiled beautifully as her goodbye.

"This place gave me eyes to see the light but put my heart in the dark."

The girl couldn't see the man's figure, but she knew he was watching her from a distance.

She decisively opened the car door to enter, never looking back. 

"Do you want to find Doris's father?"

The beautiful girl is in no hurry to answer her best friend's question but turns her eyes to the driver, ordering.

"Take us to the airport." 

"We have to see the will of heaven."

Ernesta Noah waits for her turn to be interviewed in an embarrassing mood. Her mouth constantly rereads all the information she prepared thoroughly for three days in a row.

Ernesta put all her expectations into this job assistant, and she must seize the opportunity this time. Although the amount of work is relatively high and there is tremendous work pressure, the salary does not need to be discussed, which is exceptionally generous. 

“Invite Miss Ernesta Noah for an interview."

Ernesta was a little startled reflexively when she was suddenly called a name. Her reaction was slower than usual, but she quickly regained her fighting spirit and entered the interview room.

Ernesta glanced around the room. There were three people in the room, two of which Ernesta knew quite well because she came today to apply for the assistant position to the artist manager, so she got to know the two artists thoroughly.

“Hello, please have a seat!”

bowed politely and walked over to put the document in her hand on the table. But just as Ernesta wanted to sit down in the chair opposite the recruiter, suddenly, a voice sounded to suspend her movements.

“You no need an interview. You've been eliminated!”

Not only was Ernesta so surprised that the eyes of the letter "O," but even the other two recruiters were equally amazed.

"Liam, are you talking to Miss Ernesta Noah?" The beautiful girl next to Liam turned to ask.

Liam's face changed sharply. He put the pen in his hand on the table and looked over at the two people who sat in the interview with him again.

“Ernesta Noah is eliminated, she does not need an interview.”

"Arian, does Liam seem a little tired, or can we take a break and keep interviewing?" The man sitting on the cover spoke out to relieve the tense situation.

"I have no idea." The beautiful Arian sitting next to her answered.

"Who said I'm tired?" Liam looked at the man with icy cold eyes.

The man also didn't know what to say. He just kept silent and looked at Liam.

Ernesta Noah looked at a scene like this and didn't know what to do, and she filled her heart with fear. She didn't know what she had done wrong to make Liam unappealing, but it wouldn't be fair to her if she were disqualified because of a random statement.

The social network is full of articles criticizing Liam's inspired personality. Although he is also said to be responsible at work, with some things, he is stubborn and arbitrary, most of all doing it according to his own will.

If Ernesta guessed correctly, the man in his thirties trying his best to make the atmosphere more harmonious is the official manager of two artists Arian and Liam.

After a while of silence, Liam's manager also gave in to Liam's ice-cold face. He turned to Ernesta Noah with a wry smile, apologizing.

"Ernesta Noah, I sincerely apologize!"

Ernesta Noah was completely surprised, and she thought that no matter how impromptu Liam was, he wouldn't want to do whatever he wanted. But the concession of the manager gave her unexpected results, and this is no longer called arbitrary but already sick.

"This thing?" Ernesta Noah couldn't accept such an outcome.

"We'll announce the results to you later." The manager's voice contained helplessness and guilt.

Ernesta Noah turned to look at Liam, bent over with a smile. "I can accept this result, but I want to know why he wants to get rid of me."

Liam was also a little surprised to hear Ernesta say that. He smiled slightly and replied, "Because of your eyes."

"My eyes?" Ernesta asked confusedly.

Manager and Arian were as surprised as Ernesta, and they did not understand why Liam gave. Maybe because Ernesta Noah's eyes were ugly, he didn't like it.

"Disadvantage, with the too strong light environment will reduce vision somewhat." Liam looked directly at Ernesta, reading out the information on her resume.

“Did I read it right?” Liam asked coldly.

"You read it right." Ernesta also did not want to waive. 

“So what? What do you mean?"

Arian next to Liam opens Ernesta's resume. She didn't expect Liam, who usually hadn't noticed around today, would open her resume. What surprised Arian, even more was that the sentence Liam had just read was not wrong.

"Are you not focused on finding out the job you're applying for or pretending to be stupid?"

Liam's question succeeded in making the two people next to him look in Ernesta's direction with a skeptical look at her abilities.

Because of the nature of the artist's work, it is always associated with the spotlight, but Ernesta Noah said that her vision was limited when the environment was so bright, it was like she excluded herself.

Ernesta took out a pair of sunglasses from her bag and said, "If a defect can be easily remedied, it is no longer a weakness."

Ernesta knew it would be detrimental to herself, but she wanted to be honest at work, so she didn't hesitate to write it down on her record.

"I used to be a blind person, so in a low-light environment like backstage, I will work more flexibly." Ernesta said and took off her sunglasses, carefully putting them back in her bag.

When Ernesta looked up, she noticed something strange in Liam's eyes, but it was only fleeting.

Liam smirked slightly. "But…"

"Good! Great answer!" Outside the door came the sound of a man's voice and footsteps.

The middle-aged man was wearing a separately designed suit. Elegance and majesty were two words for Ernesta to describe the first impression of seeing this man.

"General director!"

The manager and Arian stood up, and they bowed to the man who had just entered. Liam also slowly stood up and turned. From his attitude, it could be seen that Liam did not have much respect for the man.

Ernesta also bowed to him, and she had seen pictures of him in the newspapers. Mason George - general manager of ZAC entertainment company, has many rumors about models and actors.

"Liam, you shouldn't be so fastidious!" Mason George raised an eyebrow at Liam. "Girl, with such a quick response and patience, you should appreciate her."

Mason George had been standing in the corner of the door for a long time, and when he heard Liam ask about Ernesta Noah's eyes, he was also interested to know how she would handle the difficult situation.

"Thank you, General Manager, for the compliment!" Ernesta bowed slightly to Mason George.

Suddenly, Liam laughed, "Could it be that the General Manager has already choose of this girl?"

The atmosphere in the room suddenly became tenser, and the silence made the people in the room feel extremely claustrophobic.

"Liam is joking too much, and General Manager Mason George has a keen eye to see through me easily."

Ernesta skillfully said a sentence that could help Liam and win Mason George.

"This girl is so skillfully at talking!" Manager Damian was pleased to praise her, and he also had a better liking for Ernesta.

Even so, Liam still didn't like Ernesta more. He sat down in his chair, clarifying that he didn't want to be in charge anymore.

“Damian, you have to reconsider for this girl!” Mason George happily gave a commanding smile.

“Yes, General Manager!”

Damian nodded, understanding Mason George's meaning, in his heart, he thought that this Ernesta girl must have secured the ticket to the company.

"Ernesta, your interview is over. You can leave and wait for the results." Damian smiled politely.

"Thank you, everyone, for listening to me!"

Although the interview did not go well, Ernesta was not disappointed because she did her best.
