"Irene" someone called but I pretended not to have heard "Irene" the person tapped me "Wake up"
That was Jack, my elder brother.
"Jack, stop I'm not in the mood" I murmured
I had no idea when I finally went back to sleep
"Please" he pleaded
"I'm serious"
"I just want you to check it out"
"What?" I asked irritatedly as I got out of bed
"My outfit"
"Why will I be checking out your outfit?"
"I meant the one for tonight's date"
"Is that the reason why you're waking me up at this time of the day?"
"It's already noon" he replied "I've been waiting for you to wake up since"
I took my phone and checked the time
"2:11" I said and looked up at Jack, who was giving me his pleading look "Ok fine" I said in surrender and got out of my bed
"Thanks" he smiled
"But I'm telling you for the last time, that girl isn't worth it"
"She is"
"Jack, be logical for once"
"You can't understand since you've never fallen in love before"
That was a lie, but I wouldn't be sharing that information with him
"Stop talking like a pro because this is also your own first time"
"Whatever"
"I just know she isn't worth it"
"Stop saying that if you can't tell me why" he warned
"I give up" I said and raised my hands up in the air

Almost all his outfits were on his bed when we entered
All for Sarah, I thought as I headed to sit on his chair
"What about this?" He asked with a smiling face as he picked up his sleek suit
"That's definitely not it"
"You sure? What of this?" He asked as he picked up another annoying outfit
"Not it" I answered and got out of the chair to find him something "Try this" I said when I finally found one
"A sweater?"
"Yeah, it's gonna be perfect"
"She isn't going to like that"
"She will because I know you will look good in it"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. Go try it on"
He entered his bathroom and came back looking freaking hot in it
"Wow. This...is... perfect"
"Stop exaggerating"
"I'm not. My brother's first date loading..." I said and hugged him "I'm happy for you bro"
Although, I was happy that Jack finally fell in love, I wasn't happy with the person he fell for
Sarah, Sarah Sanguine, the girl I've loathed since the first day I knew her, that was when I was five.
She and her parents just moved to our community during that time
"What is red nose looking for?" She had asked me and all the kids in the class had laughed at my nose
"I'm looking for Jack" I replied while trying not to cry
"Jack or lime?" She asked and the kids laughed more
I ran out of their class instantly and that was the last time I ever looked for Jack in school
"I'm always wondering who the lucky guy for you is going to be" he said and kissed my forehead
"Likewise I" I lied and looked up at him "You really love her?"
"Yes, I've loved her since middle school"
"And you've been keeping that away from me"
"I was shy to tell you back then"
"But not anymore"
"Yeah, not anymore. Now, go shower before you start stinking"
"That isn't cool at all" I said as I unwrapped my hands that was on his waist "What of mom?" I asked as I was heading out of his room
"Downstairs. She is worried about you"
"Okay. Oh!" I said and stopped walking when I remembered what I saw last night "Jack" I called
"Yes" he replied
"I've you been noticing any strange thing in our community recently?"
"No, like what"
"I don't know" I said and continued walking
"Wait, Irene" he stopped me "Did you notice something?" He asked curiously
"No..." I trailed off
"You've started hiding things from me"
"No, I'm not. It's just gonna sound weird if I say it, like you aren't going to believe me"
He waited for me to continue
"You know I hate leaving my window opened right?" I continued
"Yes" He nodded
"I forgot to lock it last night and..." I trailed off
"And what?"
"When I woke up in the mid night, and saw it opened... I went to close it, and then I saw something else..."
"Like what?"
"I might have assumed it"
"Now, you don't want to talk"
"It's not making sense"
"Just say it"
"I think I saw a wolf" I whispered
Jack laughed to the extent that he started crying
"What is so funny about what I just said?" I asked annoyingly
"I'm sorry but I just couldn't hold it in. You saw what?"
"Shut up" I said and walked out of his room
