CHAPTER 3

Cathy ignored her siblings, even when they were eating. She only answers "um" and "Hmm". This is just one of the memories of her siblings: that their sister is really determined to study at W Academy. No matter what they do, there is nothing they can do. If they continued to resist her wishes, they didn't know what their sister would do.

Because they couldn't get a good answer from Cathy even when they tried to talk to her, Cathy's three older siblings just kept quiet.

Cathy just bowed and continued her meal. Her brothers and father were worried because of her behaviour, but she was not moved by it. However, contrary to what the men in the family think, Cathy has something else in mind.

The only thing on Cathy's mind is how she can get her older brothers as well as her father to allow her to study at W Academy.

After they ate, Dominic, the head of the family, took a sip.

"Let's talk," he said, looking into the eyes of his sons and only daughter one by one.

Cathy was nervous when they were all sitting in the living room. Because of this family conversation, Alice immediately dismissed the maids so that her family could feel comfortable with the conversation.

Dominic cleared his throat. "Cathy," he said the name of his only daughter. Cathy raised her head to look her father in the eyes. She waited for her father to speak again. "Isn't your decision going to change?"

Cathy shook her head and looked determinedly into her father's eyes. "I'm really sure, Father."

Dominic didn't speak immediately; he just stared at his daughter. As an omega, Dominic knows that no matter what path his only daughter takes, it will not be easy. Even so, he thought about what his wife, Alice, had said.

As for Dominic, he will not allow his daughter to enter W Academy. For him, he would prefer it to be inside the north, the place where he can easily help her in times of need. Even so, he also doesn't want to limit his daughter's movement, which is why he finds it difficult to make decisions, and the same goes for his sons.

Although it is not obvious from Cathy's face, she is really worried about her father's decision. The words of her brothers also has a big impact, which is why Cathy does not want them to speak as much as possible. But she also knew that it was inevitable that their father would ask his brothers for their opinion, especially when talking about her future.

"Cathy, you probably know how difficult life is at W Academy based on our story, right?" asked Ralf with a worried look on his face.

Cathy looked at Ralf before he nodded. "I know. Even so, I still want to try. I'm sure I'm not the only omega going in there, am I?"

"Oh!" Shou groaned, leaning on the back of the sofa. "I don't really know what to do," he said, then adjusted his seat. "Cathy, if you think W Academy is a good place, you're wrong. Anyway, I know you've already made up your mind, so whatever we say will have no effect on you."

"I agree," Jude said, looking at his only sister. "But you'll make sure that the ones you meet are people with good manners. I can't stand it if you adapt to the bad behaviour of the students there."

Cathy grinned. She knows that her siblings will also agree to what she wants, and she also knows that she will have a hard time, but now Cathy's smiles are getting bigger because she can easily agree to them. He just didn't know how he did it.

When the head of the family let out a deep breath, they all looked at him. Dominic closed his eyes, and Cathy was really nervous about what her father would say. His palm was sweating from nervousness.

Cathy knows her father. In terms of stubbornness, she knows that his father is leading here and she is only second. But Cathy has no intention of being defeated by her father, which is why she is showing everyone that this is what she really wants, that her decision is complete, and nothing can change it.

"I agree." Cathy was secretly relieved, but before she could celebrate completely, she noticed that her father had something else on his mind. Dominic caught his senses, opened his eyes, and looked his only daughter in the eye. "On a few conditions," he added.

Few conditions. Instead of feeling relieved, Cathy became even more nervous. "What is it?" she asked.

She secretly wiped her palm on her pants because she could feel her sweat. She didn't even know if her forehead was full of beads of sweat, but at that time, she didn't have time to think about it.

"If we allow you to enter the W Academy now, the only one you can join the Imperial Family with is Lawrence, the seventh prince. The first condition is that you let Lawrence protect you. If you can't do this, don't expect us to agree. Second, if something bad happens, we want you to tell Professor Pal, the trustworthy professor at W Academy who is Ralf's friend. Third, you don't have to think about the family every time someone bullies you. Do everything to take them down. " Cathy could do nothing but nod because she knew it was for her, so she agreed. "Fourth."

"Any more? Will that make ten?" Cathy asked suddenly, and she immediately closed her mouth when she saw the evil looks of her father and brothers. "Fine, what's the fourth condition?"

"Hide your inner wolf. We know it's inevitable that they'll find out about it, but we want you to hide it. The longer, the better. You probably know why, don't you?"

Cathy didn't even have to think about it because she knew about it. From childhood, she knew why she had to hide it.

Cathy nodded. "Yes, you can count on that in your last condition."

"Who said it was last?" Jude, his oldest brother, said with a raised eyebrow.

Her jaw dropped. "Any more?" she cried.

The four men did not speak, they just stared at Cathy. When they saw that she was getting a little irritated and starting to cry, they stopped and then laughed.

Cathy frowned and then glared at them. "Are you making fun of me?" Cathy was annoyed.

They immediately averted their gaze and almost simultaneously cleared their throats with one or two coughs.

"Mom! " She pointed her fingers towards the men in the family. "Look at them!"

Alice laughed weakly at the interaction of her family. "Leave them alone. You know it's not easy for them to come to this decision, right?"

"Mother is right. You should be nice to us!" Shou said, and Ralf and Jude nodded in agreement.

Cathy's face got worse. "When have I never been good to you, guys? It's you who always don't show up for training! You guys don't want to teach me!"

Before the family talk started, the maids could already feel the tension at the dining table. They know they have something important to talk about. They also knew it was about their little lady. Right from the moment their young lady was born, they knew that she would really be the apple of their eye, especially when they found out that she was an omega.

In that kind of tension, it is better for them to keep quiet and do what they have to. This is also the time when the family is sensitive about things, so if they don't want to lose their jobs, they will keep quiet.

When the family entered the living room and they were in their room, they could still feel the tension. That's because the maid's quarters are close to the living room.

The tension remained for a few moments, and when they heard the laughter, they knew that everything was okay. They held their breath.

At that time, they knew that their Young Miss had won. Since childhood, she has never lost against her older brothers, so when they heard that their young Miss had made a decision, they knew that their young Miss would and would do what she wanted to follow her wishes.

"Thank goodness," said a maid. "I thought I was going to have trouble breathing," he added.

"It's a good thing that Duke Dominic didn't release the pressure because if he did, maybe we too would be struggling right now," said another.

They know how scary Dominic Smith is, and they also know how difficult it is to deal with the pressure he puts on them, so they are terrified to feel it. Moreover, they know that someone has already died just because of the pressure that Dominic released.

"Ah, Miss Cathy really is our shining star. She saved us many times without her knowing about it," said another maid, who was immediately agreed upon by the crowd.
