Strange

It was the morning after such eventful night....Erica got up she looked around none was there . After a while she came out of her bed got ready and went to the dinning area .

Smriti randhwa was sitting there Erica went to her and touched her feet . She held Erica and stoped her from doing so, the she said " I really thought anay loved you , I don't know what suddenly happened if you had came here after marrying him it would have been a different day , but now things are something else , you are married to Kabir....I really feel sorry for you!!! It's going to be very tough, I m really concerned for you!!

Erica was not able to understand what she was saying so tried to change the topic and said aunty do I have make something it's the first day!

Smriti smiled and said none has any right to direct anything that related to Kabir....you do whatever you like I don't have any role in any of it...take care ' with that she went

Erica just got rooted where she was standing after a while of contemplation she thought of making halwa because she didn't wanted to disrespect the tradition

She went in the kitchen , everybody was looking at her with a very strange expression....if she tried to ask anything about Kabir all of them behave very weirdly...one of them finally said that they are very afraid of him and they are not allowed to discuss anything about him...

Erica felt strange...but she made the halwa and presented it to everyone on the dinning table his father in law tasted it and praise it while Kabir had his basic breakfast and not even looked at it...

He went to office....Erica was looking in his direction when smriti came to her and while placing a hand on her solder she simply said " aadat daal lo "(make it a habit)

It's already been a month since Erica and Kabir got married!!!

In this one month Kabir became the MD of Pinnacle group of industries something which he wanted from a long time ....he was marching towards his sole dream of taking over the company entirely!!!!

Everything was going great at work and that's the only thing that mattered to him!!!

There is absolutely no change in his life after getting married ...there are no calls , no interactions nothing between them.. sometimes he even forgets that he is married and how indifferent they both were with each other ....Kabir usually would come late by the Erica used to sleep ....so they don't even see eachother often...the only change was sometimes Kabir used to sleep in his own room on the same bed with her or otherwise he used to sleep in his office room or even in his penthouse alone!!!

Erica on the other hand accepted the fact that this marriage has no meaning for him so she should stay away from him. The thought of being tied to him because his father used to bother her!!! She sometimes used to feel like an unwanted guest in his room!!!

Erica thought of completing his management degree but she was afraid of going back to her college everyone knew that she is in a relationship with Anay and now when she is married to his brother....it seems very weird... because of judgements she thought of completing her degree with distance learning!!

A month just went like that , in the morning when Kabir , rajeshwar and smriti were having breakfast suddenly a voice came behind

"Mom!!! I am back" there he was Anay was standing with a few languages and a bright smile on his face...as if nothing happened....Kabir didn't even look towards him.

Smriti went towards him and shouted 'where were you Anay ??? you eloped from your wedding day and now you came like nothing happened. How could you??'

'O plz mom!!! You knew I didn't want to get married you forced me ...but in the mean time I felt like I didn't want it so I just went with my friends to Thailand. I knew you guys would sort out everything behind me , so now I came back he said shamelessly with a smiling face.

Rajeshwar randhawa also rebuked him but he remains indifferent, anay took an apple and sat on the dinner table while listening to their rant but being extremely indifferent.

Suddenly he saw Erica coming down the stairs he choked seeing her and started coughing.

On the other hand Erica saw Anay casually sitting on the dinning eating apple she couldn't believe the man who destroyed her life was so relaxed!!

She came down and looked at his face ...she remembered the hurt he caused and tears started brimming her eyes!!!

"Why is she here mom??" He said

'when you ran away she and Kabir got married' his mom said

Anay was dumbfounded after a moment of silence he walked towards Erica who was crying and watching him with disgust!!!

Before he reached her a strong hand held his wrist..he looked down and saw Kabir who was eating salad casually had held his hand that too so firmly.

'kabir leave my hand I have to talk to her ' he said

'she is my wife...and you know very well I don't like people messing with my things ,so just take your step back and don't come near her. Understand!!!' Kabir said and then he stood up and took a glance towards Erica who was crying after seeing this Kabir felt like as

if someone had poured cold water on him!!!!

Kabir was sitting in his office but his thoughts were racing towards Erica's crying face....he thought Erica was crying for Anay and this thought was making him restless.. he didn't know why?

Previously he didn't know much about Anay's marriage but he knew that Anay was dating a girl and they both are in love so they are getting married!

This marriage is not something very important to Kabir but he didn't like Erica crying for him... because weather he likes it or not she is his wife and she can't be crying over someone else!!

Kabir was in his thoughts when Saurav his PA came and said " Sir!!! Today we have a meeting with Malhotra's about the textile project when should I schedule it??"

Kabir didn't answer still in thought

He called him again "sir????"

"Hmm" Kabir's trance broke .

Saurav repeated the same thing and said "sir if you don't mind me asking is everything alright I have been working with you for so long I never caught you off guard on office hours!!!"

"Ohh...Nothing like that..and about the meeting schedule it on the evening..be prepared we have to crack this deal ok!!!" Kabir said

"Ok! sir" saurav said and left.

"How can I think about anything else

Other than business!!! I don't care about anything else other than this . And about the girl Erica , it's not that she is cheating on me ...she is married to me and in her heart what she thinks is none of my business...I should focus on my goal not this non important girl" Kabir thought

Erica was sitting in her room thinking about the morning event and Anay and Kabir's behaviour...while Anay has absolutely no regret about what he has done to him....

Kabir called her "a thing" as if he just brought her from somewhere...when he stopped Anay from talking to her it was not because he didn't want him to hurt her again but because he was showing that now he has got his possession on her!!!

She felt like she is some toy to them

"Erica!!!"

Suddenly Smriti's voice came she looked up and saw smriti standing near her...

She sat near her and said "look Erica whatever happened between you and Anay is a thing of past , and now that you are married to Kabir ... I don't want any kind of drama in my house...he is my only son and he is very dear to me ..I don't want you to behave weirdly around him in anyways because if any new drama will unfold ...we can't even imagine what Kabir will do. So I request you please forget everything and let my son live in the house without any problem!"

Erica was shocked and hurt at the same time shocked by the way smriti just disowned Kabir and hurt because she does not have a bit of sympathy towards her and all she cares about is her brat son!!!

But leaving her feelings aside she said " don't worry aunty , I will not cause any problem to you ..I have no proble

m with Anay staying in the house!"
