Kill Jelena Savage

Milkyway Galaxy, outside the solar system

A young man with symmetrical and sharp facial features stood in front of a small group of ten. His hair was white as was the beard he let grow in both sides of his cheek and his jaw. On both sides of his head, his ears looked as if covered by a seal, and long antennas stretched from them reaching an inch above his head. He had his right hand resting on the left part of his chest and on it was the beautiful life-like tattoo of a white lotus.

Across from him stood some ten people, six men and four women with the same antennae features. If one observed closely they would also notice on the back of their hands the same tattoo as on the white beard young man's.

"We all know each other here, countless times we have worked together. I have abandoned the name of my cowardly father and become Pure. Together, Purity and I have served Primal and we will continue to do so even in the face of this seemingly impassable chasm." He paused, looking around the group of ten, his eyes looking directly into theirs. They all stared back at him with respect and admiration in their eyes, listening with anticipation for his words.

"The human race has infected our ways, our culture, and our very nature as fae. We have accepted them into our civilization, we have accepted them into our race, and we have allowed them to learn our culture. And what have they given us in return? Corruption!" He spat out the last word with fury in his eyes.

"I will not continue with many words. Our target this time is the humans on Gradual. They have determined to remove our traces from the planet and we will do the same to them. The mission this time will be dangerous. We will have to face human and Als forces and some of us might not make it back. But we will wash every inch of our land with our blood if that's what it takes to Cleanse Fae" he concluded.

"For Primal Purity" the ten men repeated solemnly, placing their palms over their hearts.

A moment later they gathered around inside a small spaceship. The spaceship was not as technologically designed as the facilities of the Al Coalition Building. Instead of metal, wood decorated the inside and giving it a unique homey feeling. Two sofas sat facing a fireplace, above which was a glass and through the glass, one could see the boundless stars some distance away.

The fireplace burned gently but surprisingly did not produce any heat. This was the power humans feared! When they first learned of it, many fantasy lovers claimed it to be magic, and scientists had no argument for it until some eleven years later when information was leaked from the Als on how this energy was cultivated and harnessed from celestial bodies. It was called. Celestial energy, which was in reality not much different from solar power, was just an upgraded version of it.

The white-bearded guy who called himself Pure sat on a tall stool by a small table on which a map of Gradual was spread open. On the sofa, behind him, the other nine sat and chatted happily among themselves. Despite heading toward danger, there was no gloom in the atmosphere.

One of the girls got up with a bottle in her hand and walked around the sofa before approaching Pure's table.

"Any message from Primal Purity?" She asked.

"Mhhhmm" Pure replied absentmindedly. Hearing the sound of a bottle opening he looked up at the bottle in the girl's hand and then at her face.

"You're not supposed to be drinking human products" he returned his attention to the map and scolded gently.

The girl moved to stand beside him, resting on hand on his back, she gently played with his hair and took a swig from the bottle.

"It's not a human product, it's Elven wine in a human bottle" she replied twirling a strand of his hair in her fingers.

"What are you thinking?" She asked when he opened another map of the Milkyway Galaxy over the first one of Gradual.

"I don't under the movement of Celestial beasts on Gradual, they retreated from the planet too quickly" he replied staring worriedly at the map.

Celestial beasts were creatures that could survive the harsh environment of outer space. The weak ones among them were numerous but the stronger ones were fewer in number. They could all survive in extreme environments, from firey planets to icy ones, to the edge of black holes in space even.

For some reason, they had attacked Gradual before the Crisis and escaped from the planet soon after.

"It was a human scheme, trust me" Emma shook her head.

Pure remained silent though, his sister Primal Purity was the leader of Primal, and sometimes he felt that she had deviated from their original course and was now just a hater of humans.

Knowing that Pure did not believe her, Emma drew a chair over.

"What's going on with the new Keeper?" She asked an unrelated question.

"Primal Purity wants him changed" Pure sighed as he replied.

"The Archives has been interfered with many times throughout history and our leaders came to regret it every single time, it will be no different this time. You'd best urge your sister to be careful there" Emma shook her head.

Pure smiled at the nonchalant way she provided a warning for his sister. Unlike everyone else in Primal, Emma was not brainwashed. She had a strong sense of individuality and only believed what she deemed true. This did not mean she was stubborn, it only meant that she would do whatever she was asked or made to do even if she did not believe in it. Her heart was always clear about the things she did. And that was why he fell in love with her.

She had no worship or fanaticism for Primal Purity, she only joined Primal because she genuinely believed the human race's influence on the Als to be harmful. She was fighting for her own beliefs and so she was the most pious believer in the eyes of others. Because she was firmly faithful to her mission.

"So tell me, what's our target this time?" She asked.

"To kill Jelena Savage" Pure turned to her, a smile briefly gracing his handsome face in a flash.

The sun had started to fall over Gradual when the storms came. It was gentle this time though and much unlike the day when he had to watch her go.

Axel stood on top of the Dome and stared into the horizon. It was as if he could see Earth and see Rita working in the Human Alliance Headquarters. His heart dearly longed for her so much that it was almost as if he could feel her skin on his palms and he stretched his hand out to her. He could hear her laugh as she made small talk with her colleagues and he could feel the professional atmosphere of the other government workers around her.

"It must be different from here right?" He asked himself.

"It has to be" he nodded, answering his own question.

Humans found some joy in their jobs because they had underlying principles for their actions. Like how killing was murder and it didn't matter the authority of the one who did it. In fact, just for that alone, they could smile at each other and make jokes even if they were insincere.

It was different for Als though, as Chieftess Jelena Savage could kill anyone who defiled her and all she had to do was provide a good reason for her actions. This naturally created a fearful environment among people who naturally wanted to live.

Suddenly a sound filtered into his ears and he looked down. In the distance, he could see a procession marching for the northern gates of the Als Coalition Building.

"Humans in protest"

He muttered to himself.
