CHAPTER FORTY- EIGHT- I AM GOING HOME

JOANABE (JOENABELL) POV

Leonel is about to say something, but I cover his mouth to keep him shut. I give him a sad look and say, "We should grab some food." I wipe my tears and unbuckles my seatbelt. Leonel doesn't want to let me go, but I protest. "Leonel, I know you want to know why, and there are a lot of things running in your mind, but let me tell you in advance, I am going to show you everything about me."

Leonel firmly nods and gets out of the car to open the door for me. I softly thank him for being a gentleman. I look up to see the name of this small and simple restaurant. It's le petit dejeuner resto (little breakfast resto). I chuckle softly because the restaurant fits its name. I guess we are having toast with butter and jam, not bad for a day. 

"You okay with this?" Leonel asks, concern. I smile at him. He pinches my nose, and I groan. "You look like Rudolph, the red nose reindeer," He teases. Wow! He h
