Alessia’s POV

“Oh Johnny, my dear Johnny! You thought that your sister died that day, but you see, Daddy sold her to me," Lorenzo smirked at him.

"What?" What? I asked softly as tears slowly rolled down my cheeks. My heart goes out to Johnny and his mother to think that their sister and daughter were alive all these years. I looked at my parents and his sister. I couldn't help but breathe out loudly and realize that such big news was breaking upon us. Secrets were unfolding—big secrets.

Those were the only words that came out of my mouth, as I'm still trying to process why a father would do that to his only daughter. Life throws shit at you, and you just have to dodge it, but if it were that easy, none of us would be standing here with a problem.

"What is the matter, Johnny? Cat, cut your tongue?" Lorenzo mocked as Johnny glared at him, and this was the hardest glare I have ever seen him give someone.
