Chapter Twenty-One - Last week
Asher's POV
For some reason, anytime I ask Alex out, she says no, she turns the other way when she sees me in the hallway. I don't know why she's so blatantly avoiding me when she can just tell me. I finally cornered her on the way to the field, I placed both hands on either side of her, trapping her in front of me.
"W-what are you doing?" She asked, not looking me in the eyes.
"Why've you been avoiding me?"
"I-I haven't been avoiding you." She blinked repeatdly in a fast pace.
"Why are you lying to me?" I sighed, "Look, whatever it is, you can tell me, okay? I lo-"

Alex's POV When I woke up, Asher had already left. I stood up and went to brush and take a bath, it's been so long since I took a relaxing bath. Alex's POV It's winter break now and we resume school next year January 3rd. It's been 3 week since Asher kissed me, I haven't told Cole about it yet because he gets riled up over nothing these days, he saw some of Asher's clothes in my locker and almost burnt them all. Alex's POV "You're having a formal party?!" I yelled, surprised at what Chris was saying. "Yup. he nodded. "With tuxedos and gowns?" I asked, shock unwavering. Asher's POV After that, Tamron started bringing different boys over everyday, I knew this was her way at getting over me so I gave her space, I avoided her durin breakfast, lunch and dinner. I avoided her practically every hour of the day, I didn't realize how lonely I was without our conversations and her flirty yet hurtful comebacks to everything. I soon started to miss her. I was walking in a different hallway, the path that strayed from the normal ones that everybody uses and I bumped into her. "Sorry." I said and turned to leave.
