Chapter Twenty

Asher's POV

While we were eating breakfast, Alex seemed to be feeling a little down and I was worried, "Are you okay?"

She sighed but didn't respond, almost as if she was lost in thought. She continued sighing until it became annoying to bear, "Hey." I yelled, snapping her out of it.

"What? Sorry I didn't hear you." She said.

"You've been sighing nonstop, what's wrong?"

"Cole hasn't talked to me since we started going out and it hurts not being able to speak with him, he won't even look at me." She sniffled.

It didn't like that she wanted to him to be close to him but it's my fault so I have to help. "Okay look, crying won't solve anything, let's just come up with something."

We sat there brainstorming but nothing came to mind.

Alex finally spoke up, "All we know is that he hates you."
