26. Not normal rogues

Mia

I found myself circled by the five rogue wolves, each snarling and growling, their eyes gleaming with feral hunger. Adrenaline was pumping through my body, it had been a while since I got to fight.

One of the rogues lunged towards me, claws extended. My instincts kicked in, and swiftly sidestepped the attack, feeling the wind rush past me as the rogue's claws barely missed me. In one fluid motion, I retaliated with a roundhouse kick, my foot connecting with the rogue's jaw. The impact sent him sprawling to the ground, temporarily incapacitated.

The remaining rogues closed in, their teeth bared and their claws slashing through the air. I ducked, weaved, and dodged their attacks, my movements calculated, adjusting my stance every time I noticed a new quality about them. I was analysing their every move, something ingrained in to me through my praising.

I punched and kicked at any part of the rogues that came my way, letting my fangs extend as well in case I needed to snap on to them
