Kayla’s POV

“Maybe Melissa have heard the news and decided to clear her head before coming back. We have to give her some time,” I said as a matter of fact.

For me I have not gotten over the horror of the shoot out and the pool of blood I was immersed in.

For what it’s worth we all need to rest tonight.

Chris’ POV

I woke up to find myself handcuffed to the bed. I saw the silhouette of two officers guarding the door to my room.

“Chris, look what you have done to yourself. From a petty thief to a full blown criminal.” I thought to myself.

Then I started reminiscing about the shoot out. I then discovered that Smith used me as a cover.
