Chapter 6

Few weeks later I started getting used to Anita and her crew, their constant disturbance and nusiance, pushing me out of the way, mocking my dress, pouring water on my school bag and all of that.

I couldn't tell mum about what I've been going through in school, I know she has a lot too.

I vowed to keep it to myself and hopefully stand up to the challenge.

I had to balance both school and work with mum.

later at night mum couldn't hold it anylonger she woke me up and told me everything going on at work, she told me all that Mrs Raphael has been doing to her, sometimes accusing her of stealing, threatening to kill her if she come close to her husband.

I felt bad.

Mr Raphael took us like his family, but his wife sees mum and I as slaves and nothing more.

I was hurt again, even when we think everything is going on well, Life will always show us the bad side.

I couldn't follow mum throughout the week, and according to her Mrs Raphael daughter Lisa is exactly like her mother.

On Friday morning, I woke up and looked at the time, 6:45am.

What?? I jumped out of the bed and rushed to prepare from school, blaming myself for not waking up early, and the rain too.

Everywhere was cold and slippery that early morning.

I walked fast to school clutching my sweater tightly hoping I would not be late. Luckily for me I entered my class 7:50am.

I breathe a sigh of relief, and sat on my seat.

Most students were in the class, and every friday we do have just two lecture, so we all have time to gist and have fun.

I've spent two months and yet I have no make any friend, and i was okay with it.

I was reading a novel when I noticed everywhere was gradually quiet, I raise my head to look around and saw all eyes fixed to the door.

I raised my head well to look what's going on there, there he was standing tall and proud looking  walking slowly into our class.

Mummurs were going round, all eyes were on him.

He was the perfect definition of handsome, I looked at him well, he was manly, tall, with a smooth face and a kissable pink lip.

"OMG! How can somebody be this fine? I gushed.

I was stuck! Starring at him intently at him.

No doubt when he walked in, he became the most handsome boy in the school.

More handsome than delvin.

My goodness! 

Head flipped towards my direction, as if he knew someone had been starring at him, my book almost fell of my hand when he looked at my direction and our eyes met.

I quickly turned my eyes away. My heart started beating fast, Did he caught me looking at him?

My head bent pretending to be reading the novel I was holding.

Reading nonsense actually........

I couldn't concentrate, the way he looked at me and smiled, there was something in that look I just can't explain.

Calm down! Kelsi I caution my hormones, don't think he notice you just because he looked at your direction, my subconscious mind told me.

He might be looking at someone else at your back, my mind mocked.

Well, at least he looked and smiled, I fired back at my subconscious mind smilling revengefully.

I read one line for the fifth time, then give up, stylishly my eyes travelled to the new boy direction and Mrs saucy was already there, hands folded standing close to his seat smilling

and I noticed her skirt looks way shorter than how I saw it earlier.

ugh "Look at her!" I spat out.

Always carrying herself everywhere, No shame!

She sat close to him,and they were in a deep discussion, laughing and smiling at each other.

" what are they even discussing? The jealous side of me wondered. 

I watched as he gently pushed a strand of her hair back smiling and talking to her, no doubt he was actually enjoying her company 

"Why then is she laughing like a cow? I hissed eyeing them.

Let her just leave the sit!! I almost wanted to shout getting pissed with the way she was touching him and laughing with him.

Delvin walked in, then I saw that they will be seat mate.

Lexy and delvin seatmate? Better! I said relieved.

Everybody wanted to know him, girls compliment him just to gain his attention, guys were trying to be close. 

But he was more closer to his seat mate Delvin, the attention were becoming too much, he was the talk of the class and school.

He was enjoying the attention too, I was getting irritated at the way he laughed showing his perfect white teeth and dimples. 

After that morning he never looked at me, all his attention was on Anita.

I felt hurt, but I couldn't forget the glow i saw in his eyes when our eyes met.

You think nonsense! 

"What makes you think he liked you? My brain shun me.
