K was awakened by the smell of coffee, cinnamon, maple syrup, and fresh butter on toast.
She sat up on Jesse's California King-sized bed, rubbing her eyes. She checked out the time on the digital clock by the bedside table, 10:34 AM. Her body felt sore, she was actually still feeling tired and sleepy.
