I checked my phone for the hundredth time today to see no texts or calls from Everly. She went back to work today. I wasn’t overly happy with this, but I know that she loves what she does and that I can’t keep her confined to the apartment all the time. I knew what dad was trying to tell me at the end of the meeting. He wants me to talk with Everly about her family. I have been putting it off, but I know it can’t be removed any longer. With all this new information and the fact that her grandparents knew where it was this whole time and kept it from her father and brothers, it makes sense to talk with her about it now. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders after I told Kaden about my stepmother threatening me. I never told anyone about that, not even Tianya and Kylynn. Well, here we are again. We are all crammed into the conference room at Bohannon Security and Technologies. That is the name of the company that Tianya and Kylynn’s fathers and uncles own and run. It’s been two days since we met at Zach, Doug, and Sean’s company. I was impressed with the whole setup. The building was massive, and all the technology there was extraordinary. They gave us a tour after our meeting, and from the looks, on Alek, Brent, and Lance’s faces, I could tell they were impressed as well.
