In the meantime, Seraphine had wrapped up her work for the day. She planned to watch some TV and munch on some snacks while she waited for Elliott to return with dinner.

When she saw Aria's incoming call, she felt an unspoken reluctance to answer it. Still, not wanting to miss out on any updates, she picked it up anyway.

"Hello, Aria."

"He's such a jerk, Seraphine!" Aria choked out. "We did it for another two hours before he left."

Seraphine was speechless. She honestly didn't want to hear about this, especially not when Aria voluntarily sacrificed herself.

After a momentary pause, she piped up, "You know, Aria, I… really don't want to know how long you guys were in bed together. Can you call me next time only when you have something important to update?"

Was Aria doing this on purpose or not? Why did she keep calling Seraphine up about this?
