Chelsea and Micah were just happily clinking glasses. Faced with Clifford's question, she froze slightly, then helplessly cried out, "W-What's going on with you tonight? Why are you getting mad at me, Cliff?"

Micah's expression darkened immediately. "What do you think you're doing, Mr. Johansen? You're asking her to leave right when she's keeping me company? I was just thinking about approving the paperwork tonight!"

Clifford looked into Micah's murky eyes and instantly knew he had his eyes on Chelsea.
