Chapter 20
Hissing in pain as Emily clean the cut and wound on my face. She told me the side of my eyebrow got cut and my lips too. She also told me there will be a bruise on my cheeks and my left eye since Chase punches me pretty hard.
To add my pain, I currently have a headache courtesy to Chase that made my head collide with a concrete floor.
"Ruby! You okay?" Blake burst in, looking at me worriedly. I shoot him a weak smile. "I’m okay just a little hurt." He went to my side. "I told you to be careful." I chuckled lightly. "I was being really careful but I think Chase just has a good feeling."
"How did he know?" Drake asks. I shrugged. "I honestly don’t know. From the very start, he was acting quite off and he kept looking at me suspiciously. I mean you guys heard how many times he emphasizes my name right?" they nodded their heads.
