“Sammy I shouldn’t have asked that question,”

“No, don’t be sorry. Your question deserves an answer. Let me tell you a secret as far as I can recall. I must admit my memory sometimes was a bit fuzzy. I once had a crush on this slightly older boy. I was crazy about him. He was the type of boy that’s any girl’s dream boat, excuse the expression. I remember there were white hospital walls and I still eagerly looked for him but I soon learned he run away leaving me behind and crashing all my dreams of us being together.”

Sammy suddenly stood no longer in the mood for the whole conversation. She just wants to be alone.
