Frustration

Peter woke again during the early morning hours. He was seriously frustrated with himself now when he found, again she had slipped from his arms. He climbed through the window rounding the house just in time to see the black car outside.

Approaching the car the driver pulled away.

Sammy stood there at the end of the street cast in silhouettes of the early morning dawn with the sheer power of her being made him aware of her actual presence. He walked towards her and as he approached he noticed she was just looking at her hands.

“What is wrong love?”

She looked up at him and the raw pain knifed him right through to the heart.

“Who am I? Why do I want to belong with you? I feel the strength of fear leaving me breathless. I see something but I don’t understand it.”
