Chapter 1

Dora looked at her reflection in the mirror for the hundredth taking a deep breath,

This was the first time she was wearing a dress, the woman she saw in the mirror was nothing like her usual self, she looked different, something she wasn't used to.

A slight knock on the door drove her out for her thoughts,

“Come in” she said clearing her throat, in the mirror, she could see Ben enter her room,

“You look so beautiful princess” he said the moment he looked at her, Dora laughed

“You don't have to cry Ben, you know this isn't my wedding day right?” She joked with another laugh

“I know, just that you look different” and he was right

“Honestly, I am scared” she told him, she trusted Ben with her own life, he had basically raised her and was around much more than her father

“The Don will be surprised when he sees you” Ben said wiping away a tear

“Well, he wouldn't be the first one, I mean look at me, I can't even recognize myself” she said looking at herself,

The dress was beautiful, her father had picked it up for her, it was for this special occasion that she had waited for 21 years of her life. Today was the day she was going to step foot out of the island, she was to associate with other people and kidnap her target Ryan Smith.

Dora had been trained since a young age for this day, her father had repeated over and over again how all the training she had was for this day,

Dora loved her father and lived to impress him, even though she was good at almost everything, she had never gotten out of the Island, the only people she talked to where the bodyguards and Ben,

She didn't have any friends or any social skills which would make the mission challenging cause she didn't know how to deal with people

“There is not one thing you are not good at Dora. You can shot and aim better than any person I have met. You can fight real good, better than your father soon I hope. This will be like a peace of cake, get his attention, drug him and your mission will be done” Ben spoke, only if it was as simple as that. She had studied Ryan Smith as much as she studied her books, she knew every little detail about him, 

This was because her father had insisted she did that to make the mission a lot easier for her, she knew what places he liked to go, his women, the type of food he liked, his favorite restaurant and every other information she was given,

Perhaps she was over worrying herself, her life's Misson was this day, surely it was going to go as planned

“What if I don't manage to get his attention?” She asked worry consuming her yet again, the last time she had been this anxious was when she was 10. Her father had bought her a puppy for her birthday, she loved it and even named him Louis. A few weeks later while training, her father had placed the dog next to a bottle of water and asked her to shot at the bottle with a single gunshot. Dora had been so anxious scared for her lovely pet. She aimed at the bottle trying her best to hit it but immediately she pulled the trigger, something tragic happened. While she would have hit the bottle, Louis jumped in front of it and ended up being shot. She was left devastated but had never missed a target since then.

“You are going to do great, just don't worry yourself too much, besides, I will be here to guide you every step of the way” Ben assured her making her feel a little better, Ben looked at his wrist watch

“It's time to leave, the party will start in a few hours” he told her

“Let's go” Dora said taking a last look at herself with a deep sign.

The Don was waiting for them outside, immediately he saw Dora, his eyes watered up as he pulled her in for a hug

“You look just like your mother” he said

“I do?” Dora asked, Her father barely talked about her mother, he had never shown her any of her picture and refused to tell her exactly what had happened except that a man called David Smith had killed her

“Do you think I will do great?” Dora asked, her father looked at her all lovely kissing her forehead

“You want to make me proud don't you?” He asked, Dora nodded

“Then am sure you will do just fine, now go and get me that boy” he told her as he urged her to the car

“Dad” Dora called just before the car drove off, her father leaned over the window side

“I love you” she said

“I love you too my princess” he said, the car soon drove off.

When they reached the border line, Dora was blindfolded. Her father was crazy about security, he didn't want a single person to know his secret hideout, Dora didn't even know where exactly this island was located.

“How are you feeling?” She heard Ben speak through the earphone she had on

“Anxious” she told him with a sign

“You should feel confident” he said to her, Dora let out a laugh as someone held her hand and lead her in what she assumed was the boat to get her out of the island

“What do you think Dad will do if I fail this Misson?” She asked, there was a brief silence from Ben before he spoke a while later

“You won't fail” he told her but his response wasn't what she wanted to hear, she had seen her father kill many of his men once they failed to do their task, she began to wonder if that would be the same fate she had if she failed him

“What if I do?, Do you think he will get rid of me?” She asked, she had no doubt her father loved her but he was unpredictable most of the time so she wouldn't be surprised if he did something unexpected

“I don't know Dora, but for the sake of your life, I would advice you do your best and make sure this Misson is a success, you have been training for twenty years for this, you will do just fine” Ben told her, Dora nodded feeling some sort of comfort, she knew what to do and she was going to try by all means to do it right…
