Kael’s POV

She slapped me. She actually raised her tiny hands and delivered a slap to my face. And not only that, she had dragged me down by the tie, gave me a piece of her mind and walked off.

I am supposed to be pissed. Hell, I should be wrecking havoc. No one had ever had the galls to do this before.

I have always had a long line of women throwing themselves. Each one more desperate than the last.

Until her. Until she stumbled into the boardroom a month ago. One month was all it took for me to disregard my long line of women and focus on her.

But of course she never knew, and no one would ever find out.

A smile remained on my face as I entered my car and zoomed off. I needed to get rid of this growing addiction. And I knew the best way to do it.

“It’s been long you came to see us Sir”

“True. You don’t love me and Sisi anymore”

That was one woman no one dared to cross and I refused to put myself in the position where I would be vulnerable to her.

The realization made me pause and laugh. The fact that I even thought of it was funny as hell to me.

But no matter, I willed myself to be fucking conscious. Women were a weakness I can not afford. And I refuse for my downfall to be tied down to a woman.

Noelle’s POV

Okay. So signed documents, check.

Notepad check.

Coffee to his taste, double check.

I think that’s it.

With enough confidence I could muster after my encounter with Mr. Kael, I went straight to my office to cool down and fix up my shit before making my way to Adrien’s office.

I knocked on the door before slightly opening it. Peeking in first to make sure I was in all clear before anything else.

And sure enough, he was nowhere to be seen. So I calmly walked in. I placed the documents and the coffee on the table and made my way to a couch at the side as I forced my sleepy ass to review the documents left for him to place his signature.

I also used that opportunity to sort all four of their schedules for the month. Knowing when I had to accompany whom and when.

I was still stuck with my face splattered on the screen when I heard a huge thud in the lounge room.

And by instinct, I quickly made my way there. Only to find Adrian on the floor, his face contoured in pain. Now a normal employee would lend a helping hand to her boss while whispering sweet nothings to stroke his ego and get on his good side.

And a funny person would make a joke out of this situation to ease the tense mood, hoping their boss would laugh along.

I, on the other hand, was stuck looking at his built physique. I thought Kael would have the best physique among all four of them; simply because I have seen his bare body across magazines that I promise I didn’t buy with my mum.

But holy she devil was Adrien packed. With the glistening water rolling down, it wasn’t hard to note that he just had a shower. I forced myself to look up only to see his tousled dark hair that was still wet.

My mind went into overdrive as I stood there simply gawking at him. And that was until something else caught my attention. He was wearing only a free boxers that had alien prints all over them.

Again, another reason to laugh and ease the tension. But no. My gaze seemed to be stuck on the huge tent down there. It was so fucking obvious and huge that I wondered how that was even going to fit.

I was stuck making up scenarios in my head when his voice rang out, breaking me out of my lucid dream.

“When you are done eye fucking me, you can let me know”

There was a tinge of annoyance in his voice as well as another emotion I couldn’t name but that was all it took for me to regain my composure.

“I wasn’t eye fucking you, Sir”

“Oh yeah. And pigs can fly”

He said in a sarcastic manner as he stretched out his hand for me to help him up and I hurriedly scooted over to him to help.

And nothing, nothing at all, prepared me for what came next.

Immediately he was on his feet, he held me by the waist and tugged me to him, trapping me in his arms before bringing down his head and whispering into my ear;

“Don’t you think I deserve a turn, huh?”
