Chapter 16

Why all my thought is answered in my spiritual eye. Am I insane? How can I be walking and talking to myself? How am I going to be accepted in society? I asked myself. Hmmm, I have no ultimate right to doubt my Lord of the astral world but I am not a prince. As I was thinking about it I fell asleep.

The first thing I remembered after I was awake was the Astral Mirror. I took it and closely studied it critically. I realized the astral mirror has two sizes. The front and back view is just like an ordinary mirror. The difference is that the astral mirror vibrates to give a signal. But an ordinary mirror is the one the ladies use for their makeup. I saw blood dried on my both feet.

I rushed to the washroom.

After preparation, I took the astral mirror and said I was going to work. Suddenly the mirror began to vibrate; I opened my hand to access the mirror. The word okay was blinking. Just as I opened my hands it stopped vibrating. I nodded and put it in my pocket.

Took my cell phone and left. As usual, I was the first to arrive at the shop. I wanted to call Justine but I felt it was too early to disturb her. The mirror began to vibrate. I checked on it, and it says your employers are here. I nodded. A few minutes later their BMW was to park in front of the shop.

Rosaline brought the keys and said in a low tone you look so handsome today. What is the secret? you have to tell me at all costs. I can’t believe my eyes or am I dreaming?. I smiled passionately and responded you look so cute in your outfit as well; your light makes up has enhanced your charming appearance. I gave her a thump up. Are you sure? She asked. I nodded and continue to open the doors.

Haven’t tide up the place I quickly arranged some of the stocks in such a way that there could be a way to upstairs for the incoming goods. Some minutes later Mr. Derek appeared. How are you, Douglas? He asked politely and I responded humbly I am good sir. You have arranged the goods very well. Yes, sir, this is how we do it anytime on the arrival of a new consignment. Grate, the truck will be here soon.

Mr. Derek climbed upstairs. Minutes later I was called to bring all the remaining old stock in front to give way to the new stocks to be packed at the back. I followed him downstairs after I had duly arranged the old stock to his satisfaction. A heavy truck with thirty-six tires has packed in front of the store.

Mr. Derek handed over some documents to Rosaline to cross-check the quantities that would be offloaded into the wholesale. I took a chair to Rosaline to sit and feel free to do her work. She turned and said thank you, my future husband.

It took those around by surprise. Mr. Derek turned to look at me with a stern face. With my usual smile, I said Rosaline can’t you see I don’t have what it takes to marry Mr. Derek’s daughter? They all burst into laughter jokingly that I had run away I couldn’t accept the scholarship Rosaline had awarded me.

I took my cell phone flipped through the contact list and picked that of Justine and called. It was not answered for the first time. I repeated the call and it was answered. I heard the soft sweet voice of Justine talking from the far end of the phone. Hello Douglas how are you? I am good and you Justine I said with passion.

Oh, what a coincidence, I was thinking about you and suddenly your call appeared. Why, have you missed me? She smiles and said your guess is as right as mine. How about you? I intentionally avoided her question and said there is this serious issue I want us to talk about. What is that you considered it as a serious issue?
