Chapter eleven
Lucy leaves me and stands up. Still on the floor I pant and attempt to stand up but my entirely body aches. I manage to look up and see Lucian standing above me. My anger towards me is preventing me from asking for help. Angrily, I spit out the build up of blood mixed with my saliva on the kitchen floor.
"You bitch! That's wrong" Lucy screams at me. I look at her with disdain. I manage to stand up. Walking out of the kitchen I turn to Lucy."You will learn to respect me one way or the other" She scoffs."The audacity. Who do you think you are coming into my pack and asking for respect?""I am your Luna, a choice I didn't make and this is my pack now! Lba 13As soon as Henrietta left the room I decided to pick the same outfit I wore the day I got here. My knee-length flora outfit and also my best cloth. I brushed my shoulder-length brown hair back with my old hairbrush. I put on my only pair of shoes that I never really got to wear because I’m busy working. Lba 14I noticed that Rietta’s attention was no longer on me. I looked at her eyes and followed her gaze to see them in front of the packhouse. “What are you looking_,” I noticed her eyes fixed on a standing figure in front of the packhouse. Judging from the look on her face I am very sure it is her brother standing in front of the packhouse. I didn't say anything until she drives closer to the packhouse and confirm my suspicions. Lucian stands in front of the packhouse with a frown on his face. I got down from the car and so did Henrietta. Lba 15After waking up from my dream and repeating the strange words over and over thinking I would get an idea what it meant but I could not figure it out, this already deprived me of any kind of sleep I was expecting. What the hell does s ‘Notre origine a apposé un cachet sur cette commande’ mean. I'm so confused right now. Do I ask Henrietta or Lucian? Will they know what it means? Won’t they think I’m saying rubbish. Lucian, that was the only think my Bain and mind decided to pick out. My own annoying soulmate I am giving a week to prove to me how much he wants me. Will he really prove to me? And do I really have a choice? I tried switching up to seem bold and confident but it was just not me. I can’t pretend to be something or somebody that I am not. I knew I had to respect them whether I liked it or not but I won’t let Lucy walk over me because against my will I now have the responsibilities of a Luna on my shoulders.

“I can give you a tour of the packhouse and territory later today, that's if you're interested” He offered on his way out. I smiled and sent a nod his way.“Yeah, I’ll let you know when I am ready” I said. As soon as he closed the door I sat on the bed and calmed my breathing. This is so weird and yet it feels amazing. If we just continued like this we won’t have a very toxic relationship. I know I need some time to accept the fact that I am his even though I don't love him but I could still make something out of this. Henrietta made the first move to leave the room and I followed her out of the room closing the door behind me.“So like you've noticed we are currently on the second floor of the pack house. All the rooms are on this floor”“And Lucian’s room?” I asked. She nodded negative.“No. He's is on the third floor where is office is”“What else is on the third floor?”“That will be me giving you a tour wouldn't it?” She said.“I guess not” I said.“Lucian will not be happy I'm giving you this much information, he wants to do it himself so let me take you to him” Henrietta said. She pulled me along with her to a turning I didn't know was there. I was met with a long stairs. Henrietta was already going up while I still stood down looking at her. She turned back.“Come on Rain. Let's go” She said excitedly.

He let me walk out of his office first and he locked the door behind him as we both made our way out. “This is the third floor in the pack house which is Practically mine because it has my office and my room” He announced. I nodded letting him know I was listening to him.“The room beside my office is my bedroom,” He said again.“What are all these closed doors?” I asked out of curiosity.“These rooms are private rooms only the Alpha family has access to. Lucian finished his meal and topped it with two glasses of water. “Thank you again for the tour,” I said when we both stood up. He smiled at me.“No, thank you for the opportunity you are giving me to make it up to you” He moved ahead of me and stopped in front of me. I was about to talk when he suddenly pulled me into a hug. I let myself get lost in his warm embrace. I felt safe in his arms. Allowing his scent to engulf me in its warmth. His hands were on my lower back with mine on his back. “I really have to get to a meeting now. Get some rest, you need it” He whispered before he let go of me. I stood staring at him as he left me. I have to find Henrietta, she wasn't here for lunch. “Aaaaahhh” I screamed when I accidentally met with Henrietta on the staircase as soon as I made the move to climb she was already there.“It’s just me,” She said quickly holding my hands in hers.
