CHAPTER FIFTY SIX

I assisted Charlotte in dishing Lucian’s food. When we were done I decided to pack the packed food into a basket to take it up to Lucian.

‘’I’ll take it up my Luna’’ Charlotte offered and I declined.

‘’It’s fine Charlotte I can do this by myself. You look very tired you should take some rest’’ I advised which I knew she might not take.

‘’Thank you’’ She smiled and then took off. I carried the now packed food in the basket and I made my way for the stairs.

‘’Raina’’ Henrietta called just when I wanted to climb the stairs. I stopped and looked back at her.

‘’Yes’’ I answered carefully making sure not to sound angry and also making sure she knew that I did not appreciate her current new attitude towards my new found friendship with Lucy. I had expected her to support me as a friend she had always claimed to be. Not wanting to fight with Ri I just forced a smile at her and said,
