CHAPTER FIFTY SEVEN

I left Lucy and went back inside to check if Lucian was still busy. I knew deep down I was only going to get hurt but I still went up the stairs.

As soon as I walked inside I met with Henrietta. I smiled at her despite our little disagreement this morning.

“How is your day going?” I asked.

“Busy” She replied.

“Busy?” I repeated.

“Yeah. I've been trying to paint another abstract” She said to me.

“That’s great. I'll love to see it when you're finished” I said. She nodded and left.
