CHAPTER 4

                       Alex’s mother came down from upstairs down to the living room, wearing a short gown and packed her hair to the back. She entered into the kitchen, met the maids there dishing food inside a serving dish that would contained the entire family. She had a talk with the lady which was the head, supervised what they were doing for few minutes and left the kitchen.

As she came out to the living room, she jammed Ryan and he had wanted to be going to work. He was wearing a lovely suite which was blue in colour white a blank inner and blue trouser. He was dressing so good and looking lovely. He was the one running their father’s company and he was the CEO of the multibillionaire company.

“You can’t go yet my son, I have order the maids to make breakfast for the whole family so you have to eat the breakfast together with your family before you go” his mother said.

“Last time I checked it has been more than ten years that we had breakfast or lunch or supper together as a family in this house. So when did that start?” Ryan asked with loud voice and staring at his mother. 

It was truth that for more than ten years now no sitting together at the dining room and have meal together. But with what was happening between Ryan and his brother Alex that was when their mother thought that she had to devote her time and work things out between them.

All those years that they had been fighting, their parents thought maybe it was just a normal fight as siblings and then that Alex travelled for five years, they thought that the time he could come back and they had seen how they missed each other, they would work things out. But now that he had back and still there no different, that was why their parents tried to involved in it. 

“I know that this hasn’t been happening but it’s because I always busy but now we have to start” his mother said and with smiles.

“I don’t think I can wait, I have to get to work and I am running late already” Ryan replied.

“Which work are you talking about? It’s your father’s company and you are the CEO so you can get there at anytime. You have to eat before you go and it’s everyone that will” his mother said with command tone. She looked at the maids as they came out from the kitchen and setting the dining table.

“Please mom, I have to go and even I don’t understand this your suddenly family breakfast” he wanted to carry his laptop bag and his mother collected it from his hand. 

“You are going nowhere and eating together is now compulsory in this house” his mother said with loud voice and Ryan looked at her with a look.

“I will give you your bag back after finished eating” she turned back and going to a room downstairs with Ryan’s laptop bag on her right hand. Ryan beat the chair beside him with anger, and sat down on another chair. 

        Few minutes later; Alex and their father got down to the living room at the same time and with the maid that went to call them for breakfast. Ryan had been on sitting and what he was concerned about was that they should let him eat the food and took his leave. He greeted their father while he and Alex looked at each other with angers. 

“Alex, have you seen your brother this morning and have you greeted each other---“

“Is it about greeting that is why you make this compulsory? If it’s so can I take my leave” their mother was talking while Ryan said with loud voice.

“Can we eat because I am busy upstairs” Alex too said.

“What is even wrong with both of you? What exactly is the problem with you both?” their mother said with anger.

“Love, can you please calm down and let enjoy this lovely morning breeze. Calm down” her husband said with low voice. Their mother looked at two of them and tried to ignore that. She sat down beside her husband and facing two of them.

Vivian came out from the kitchen with two maids; she was dressing so beautiful and her beauty rally showed out. Alex busy looking at her and unable to take his eye away from her. He was looking at her with romantic smiles on his face and he was not hiding at all.

“Wow! Wow, you are looking for adorable” Alex said purely out from his mind and didn’t take his eye away from her. He wasn’t even looking at the maid that was serving his food just busy looking at Vivian.

“The cloth is looking for perfect on your body and looking beautiful in it” Alex said with smiles; Vivian wasn't saying anything just looking at him. Alex didn’t stop, continued admiring her and he didn’t care that his brother was on seat.

“Stop! How dare you admiring my wife like that and at the front of me” Ryan said with loud voice and beat his hand on the table.

“That is the problem, always behave like thug” Alex said with low voice and busy staring at Vivian.

“Calm down, nothing is there if your brother admired your wife. Even you have get marriage to her and don’t need all these jealousies anymore. Even he is your brother” their mother said. 

“Please mom don’t tell me that, someone busy staring at my wife and throwing all those comments to her and you are tell me that” Ryan said with loud voice, got up and faced Alex.

“Listen to me, don’t ever try that again. Next time you did---“ 

“And what will happen? Tell me what will happen” Alex too stood up to him and looking at each other.

“Alex! What is wrong with you? The woman in question is your brother’s wife and he said that he doesn’t want you to been admiring  her like that. So how is that difficult and caused all these” their father said with loud voice.

“She is my GIRL and I can admire her anytime or any day; so nobody should tell me that” Alex said with loud voice and couldn’t hold it anymore. 

“What did you just say? And who are you referring to?’ Ryan asked with red eye.

“You heard me right, she is my girl and I am back to have her back—“Ryan gave him a loud punched as he was talking and his mouth busted with blood. Alex didn’t let it stay long; he too punched Ryan back with anger and blood rushed out from his mouth.

“What is wrong with you children?” Their mother shouted and stood up.  

“If it’s not for what happened and the stupid arranged marriage that they did for you guys, can she even willing of getting married to you. She is my girl and I am back to have her back if that is what you want to know” Alex said with loud voice and cleaning the blood away from his mouth.

“Go and erase that from your mind, she is my wife and don’t ever think you can have her” Ryan said with loud voice and walked more closely to Alex. 

“Stay away from my wife, if not I WILL KILL YOU” Ryan said with threatening voice, carried his laptop bag and going out.

“Ryan, you can’t go like this you have to treat yourself” their mother said but he didn’t respond, just going out. Door opened and jammed with anger.

Alex left the place as the door jammed and going upstairs; Vivian was just sitting on the chair and looking. She didn’t say anything just looking. 

“Vivian is it true that you and Alex have known each other before and dated before?” Alex’s mother asked with low voice.

“Yes ma” Vivian replied with cool voice.

“And why don’t you say anything? When you are dating he will had showed you his family or know Ryan one way or the other. Two of them went to the same school, they have never separated so do you want to tell me that you don’t know” she said with loud voice and wanted to be blaming her.

“No ma, I don’t know even I don’t know he is from this family. Our dating was online dating and we haven’t seen each other before physically until the day he arrived. And it has been five years now that we talked last because he suddenly disappeared from online” Vivian explained. 

Their father breathes out and looking at the food on the table that none of the ate it.

“Listen to me and listen good, everything that had happened between you and Alex are in the past and it should be in the past. You are married to Ryan now and you should get that” Alex’s father said.

“Yes, and if you think it’s you that will make the hatred between my sons worst and deep, then you are going to regret stepping into this family” Vivian looked at Alex’s father as he said so.

“That is it, so behave yourself and stay far from Alex. You are married to his brother” Alex’s mother too said with command tone. 

“I heard you Sir and Ma” Vivian replied with low voice and cool calm. 

Vivian’s family was not so rich like Alex’s family and it was that they were closed or they were friends. The arrange marriage was just for politics and her family didn’t care of what they could subjected her to.
