Ryan Dixon's annoyance led to his developing a negative disposition toward John Taylor. In addition to the rage he felt for Sam Aden, he also harboured resentment toward another person or thing. That goddamned system was the source of his annoyance. It would periodically hand him assignments that he had no choice but to finish when they were presented to him. It was as if it were one of those unique family masters that he had no choice but to obey silently and without question. Hearing things like you ought to get along with this person, treat that person well, or learn more from him, he couldn't help but feel disgusted by what he heard.
