Chapter five

I never knew taking revenge would feel so good like this but my face drenched when my eye met Aiden who stared at me completely shocked and once our eyes met he nodded negatively.

I still didn’t care because Beta Marcus needs to know I’m in charge now and nothing can stop me, not even my father.

The whole crowd cheered as Xavier went on his knees and bowed to me. I smiled satisfactorily and went ahead to get my stuff done.I did the right thing because for the first time everything felt right. After the coronation I went back to my room to rest because tomorrow is going to be a long day for sure.

I was on my way to my room when a guard rushed in and went on his knees’ “Any case?”. I asked.

“Elder Blake sent for you” He announced.

“Oh! Tell him I will be with him shortly” I replied and he ran out immediately.

I walked into my room and sent the maids and guards away.’ I will be fine on my own and I don't need them giving me a headache.

“Kira” Sophia barged into my room screaming my name like she doesn’t know I'm now the alpha of the pack.

“Luna Kira, next time and who said you can barge into my room” I rolled my eyes, trying to maintain my cool because blowing things off now won’t get me my revenge at all.

“You know, you’ve been acting weird since you woke up. You even turned down Chad, the same guy you’ve been daydreaming and humiliated Xavier, the same man that had been so…”

“Don’t say that word” I shunned her. Xavier had never been good and we both know that there must be another tangible reason she’s here?

“Sophia, we both know that’s not why you are here so spill it out because Elder Blake awaits me.” I replied.

“It’s Chad.” She giggled, and I rolled my eyes.

“Was my best friend swapped?” She arched her brows at me.

“ NO, she died,” I said, and she laughed.

“But you’re still alive luckily” she winked at me and I laughed so it won’t be serious.

But does this girl really think I’m a fool and don't know her scheme, although if i wasn't given a second chance she would have had her way and become the next Luna and Chad the Alpha of the pack.

“Fine! Fix a date with Chad i will be there” I said, with a smile on.

“There won’t be a need for that because he is waiting for you outside right now” She giggled excitedly.

I wish I could punch her in the face and wipe off those fake happiness but instead i just played along since i will be giving Chad his own bite tonight.

“You can go see Elder Blakes tomorrow, he will understand you are tired after the coronation and can’t come” She mentioned and I pretended to think for a while but she pulled me up, redressed my hair and dragged me out.

We walked together to the corner of the palace and I remembered this place. I remembered how Chad brought me to tell me all types of lies and make stupid promises even though he knew within himself that he was about to kill me in no time.

I sighted Chad at the corner and Sophia smiled and hit my butt playfully before she left and it was just me and Chad. Honestly, I might hate Sophia now but I wished she never did those things to me, she was the only one there for me after my parents death and now it is not easily comprehensible that she wants me dead too for real too.

“Hi '' I acted shy as I walked closer to him. He smiled so bright and the stupid eyes I fell for in the past now irritates me more than ever.

“Hi, beautiful queen and my Luna” he bowed and went for my hand. He kissed them gently and I smirked.

I literally remembered what happened after this. We were interrupted by the guy that saved me at the cinema.

“I’m sorry to interrupt but you left this at the…” I quickly grabbed my bracelet from him and that made him confused.

“Sorry but I don't joke with it and are you aware I’m the new Luna?. Show some respect!” I blurted out. Chad watched closely but only if he knew I was doing all this so he could report back to Sophia on my new behavior again.

“I’m sorry” he bowed.

My eye flashes immediately and he raises his head up to meet my eye again. I felt it again and with the way he stared at me I think he is feeling it too.

“Mate” We both said in unison. In shock, I ran out of the place back to my room forgetting Chad totally.

“Kira! You are back so fast” Sophia rushed to me.

“I want to be left alone now. Guard! Don't let anyone in '' I yelled and pushed Sophia away and ran back to my room locking the door behind.

What’s happening? Aiden wasn’t supposed to be my mate because he wasn’t even in past life. Did the moon goddess tampered with my fate?. Aiden can’t be my mate because no one knows anytime about him. He wasn't even born into the pack but managed to move freely all thanks to his respected grandma.

Why does it have ro be him? I hate him so much. My wolf wants him badly but I don’t even want to have anything to do with him.

“What if he’s the key to getting your revenge?. Sophia and Chad will be so hot when they hear about you getting married to someone else” a voice said and I flinched , landing my butt on the floor.

“I did tampered with your fate but Aiden was the chosen one from the beginning there was a restricted bond between you and i didn’t give you a second chance to play with”

“Moon goddess?” I muttered, my eyes widened in fear as the white lady smiled and nodded in approval.
